Why neg rep?

It's just natural order of things...Real and Barcelona will be looking to replace Carvalho and Puyol,Silva is world class and a perfect fit.He has no unbreakable bonds to Milan,he is not Italian nor homegrown.With the current status of Serie A and Milan,it's perfectly reasonable to think this is more than a possibility.

He has never stated any intention of leaving Milan and actually mentioned the opposite - spending the rest of his career at Milan.

The situation you described is quite similar to Sneijder last year (this past transfer window) and even he did not go anywhere. There is no basis to the claim that Silva would leave, imo of course.
