For me Marcelo is a star and I am not talking about football manager cos that's wat most people do here anyways, rate players on what they see in football manager.

I enjoy how Marcelo plays his football, his not scared to try anything very talented player

I'm not gonna bother with this. I saw the last time people discussed Abidal and I think he is incredibly underrated, he is a solid LB with some attacking qualities. He is your usual jack of trades but specialises at defense where he is good at it

Well,last season i rated him as the best defensive fb in the world,i seriously never saw someone getting past him last year(or at least easily).

This year i have seen him getting beaten quite often,i was kind of affraid

when hulk was destroying him at the super cup

Not overhyped, underrated really. Most of dont know that best lb in the world plays in Chelsea. And he has been nr 1 like many many years. If anything Lahm is still below the level of Cashley.-

I said before, Marcelo are not at Lahm or Cashley level. Meaning Cashley is at Lahm level. Lahm's still better.

RG makes sence, because Lahm has been playing RB for a couple of years now. Only this season he's gone back to RB.

He is underrated only on here since the criticism and hate for English players and England national team is well-known..

If anything most of the English players are overhyped but unfortunately falter when it matters the most in big international tournaments..

But for Chelsea he has been pretty consistent for a number of years now..And i think he was England's best player at the world cup..

Lahm has been playing at RB though for the past 2 years, remember. You can't really compare because Cashley has been playing LB all his life.

I'll give you this though: Lahm will have a much better season than Cashley will.

Lahm is a right back who can play at Left back, I rank him high on my list of right backs, probably second or third in the world. And can you all stay on topic, it's about Coentrao not Lahm, Cole or Evra.

Its simply the fact that Coetrao is not being played in his favoured position which is having speculation on his abilities.

Coentrao must be used as an LB/LW which will bring out his strengths even further plus he is coping with a new system and league along with his price tag.

BBQ me all you want yet I still stand by the opinion of mine that Coentrao is better then Marcelo when used properly as with time and proper use, he will be more then worth his price tag. Be patient with him.

I could go on about his abilities.

One thing I know is that Mou likes these Raw talented players with a bevy of potential as I see him playing an integral role to his development and in given time he will make him into Portugal's rock solid LB and my prediction is even for Real.
