Midweek games in Serie A & La Liga

I just noticed there's a full round of fixtures in Serie A and La Liga on this Tuesday - Thursday.

Is this normal or a consequence of the strikes which delayed the start of the season?

Anyway, a nice surprise, looks like there's a few interesting games coming up sooner than I thought :king:

Edit. And looking ever more closely there's a full round of games in Ligue 1, too x)
Wtf, I didn't know this was supposed to happen x)

not to sure why there are mid week games, for seria im assumin due to the strike but i dnt care why, im just happy there is

i cant wait for juve vs bolonga not a big game i know, but gives us fans some more info what exactly will be contes preffered line up, considering his last 2 starting 11.

I don't know why it's on, but I don't think it is a good thing for Milan. Third game in eight days is never good for a team with such tired and aging legs. No wonder there are reports circulating that Nesta will be dropped..

It's usual for both La Liga and Serie A to have midweekd games around the 3-4 matchday....It's been happening for 3-4 years now......EPL and Bundesliga start way earlier so these leagues catch up by playing one round during midweek
