WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
Exclusive - Robson: Wenger not Fabregas key to Arsenal success
Stewart Robson has claimed Arsene Wenger, and not Cesc Fabregas, will determine how successful Arsenal are next season.
The Spaniard looks to be on his way out of the Emirates this summer with boyhood club Barcelona looking the most likely destination.
Robson, though, believes if the midfielder wants to leave the Gunners then Wenger should let the 24-year-old walk away from the club.
Speaking to the Saggers and Quinny show, the former Arsenal midfielder said: “I don’t think it’ll be a bad thing if Cesc Fabregas leaves.
“First of all they’ll have some money available to them and sometimes a player becomes too bog for his boots.
“It happened with Thierry Henry and I think it’s becoming that way with Cesc Fabregas
“The person that’s got to come to the fore next season is Arsene Wenger.
“It’s not dependent on whether Cesc Fabregas goes as to whether Arsenal do well, it’s dependent on whether Arsene Wenger realises where they went wrong last season, and rectifies it either by buying players or working harder on the training field to make sure they defend better.
“Wenger is key to whether Arsenal will be successful, not Cesc Fabregas.
“You can tell in Cesc’s body language and the rumours that are coming out that he obviously would like to go to Barcelona and that’s not a good thing.”

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
He is our captain and we will stick by him. The day he says he will not play for arsenal, we will gladly let him go.. But till that day, he is still very much a part of our team...
However, to the club, the team and the manager are more important than any individual.. I have followed Arsenal for a better part of the Wenger era, and the philosophy remains "Winning together".. The club comes ahead of any individual.. And Wenger is the man behind this team..

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
we never and we will never ever depend on a player.
Thats what Arsenal is all about.

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
of course Wenger is the key...
but player wise, i think it's Fabregas !!!
But it's a team sport and everyone does there part, every player has to produce...

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
Very happy to see Nasri getting least votes..
its really sad that just by having a good half season he thinks he deserves a tremendous pay rise, perhaps thinking he is the most important player at Arsenal.. You got it terribly wrong..

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
I think we over depend on Cesc which is why we have failed.
He is good but not a big game player, he is injury prone and when he is not there we look horrible as we don't know who to go through.

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
I think we should not jump to those conclusions man.. This is the first break cesc's had in 3 years.. let him come back after a good summer and if he is still the same, then barca can shell out 50mil and take him

...he passed to Nasri in the Barca game, and he was essential in the Chelsea game...

Overall body language , meek celebration of goals , almost quite presence just for a couple of moments he did brilliantly doesn't necessarily mean its justified huh?
And Walcott was the most essential for the Chelsea game. Better yet , team performance improved, team won.
For me the moment i see him care is the day i will beat people up for even thinking of looking at him sideways.
But i want him off the captains armband, that much im clear of.

And my vote goes not only to Wenger but his back room staff, whose work at times are largely underappreciated.

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
why is wenger even in the poll ????
reason why people don't vote for fabregas is coz he's most likely leaving and we don't want to look as if we depend on him, when out of the players he's been the most important one for past 2-3 years !

I think RVP is the man, he has showed this season, when healthy he is the best in Arsenal and one of the best in the world.

Re: WHO IS IMPORTANT TO ARSENAL ?
I have said this a lot of times and I will reiterate, RvP is right up there with Messi and Ronaldo.. If he stays injury free for one season, he is the 45 goals a season player we haven't had since the times of Titi..
