What does it matter if Ronaldo said that? I think he did say it and I dont believe he was joking, he said the thruth. I prefer people who are honest than people who are fake to the press. There's nothing wrong with what he said. A little too blunt? Maybe.

What we should be discussing is how that guy that fouled ronaldo got nothing, and when Pepe does something similar except that HE DOESNT touch the guy (Daniel Alves) he gets a red.

Maybe it has something to do with his arrogance and ego?

People mistake that serious statements for jokes all the time and vice-versa. It's only after someone puts "JK or I keed" or something like that, that we know it's a joke. You'd have to have a good ear to pick up such things the first time and in Ronaldo's case? In Spanish/Portuguese no less.

That's where my skepticism comes from.

Eh, I speak spanish(he was talking in spanish there not portugese) so it isn´t that hard for me to understand cristiano ronaldo and when you tend to joke you dont tend to sound so serious.

And its not that hard to belive that cristiano ronaldo was not joking seeing as it wouldn´t be the first time cristiano ronaldo has said arrogant things on the heat of the moment towards another player, who can forget the classic "how much do you earn?" to Pandiani...

i dont know what's the big deal about this, because it is true. He is very good looking, extremely rich and one of the greatest footballers of his time.

More importantly the people that dislike him are those who are jealous of his looks, money and stardom. Absolutely true, only thing it's not accepted to say truth like that to the public. Anyone else couldve said that but not him. He'd be considered arrogant for stating the obvious.
