No this is why, Juventini bashed me so much when I claimed Marchisio should start regardless who it is... Even if it was Vidal.

But yes agreed, great goal, and very underrated. Marchisio is the most consistent CM in Italy.

One of the most underrated players in the entire world. Hes such a complete player. Can play ANYWHERE in midfield, whether it be as a playmaker, a winger, a defensive mid, even an attacking mid. Hes just that good.

Great player... But as much as I like him, he's going to have to compete with Vidal for a spot, and that won't be easy...

But if Vidal outshines him, he won't get a starting spot, isn't that right?...

Vidal will only get a starting role if Conte decides to revert to a 4-3-3 or, Pirlo flops and if Marchisio gets injured.

sciacca i dont think that many bashed u about it. many of us agree marchisio deserves a spot over vidal. dont get me wrong arturo can be great but marchisio is marchisio juventini through and through. people like him that make football clubs so special.

that being said. ability wise marchisio is better i believe. he never puts a foot wrong. feel very comfortable when hes playing..

trust me milan fans dont get too excited about aquilani , hes a pretender. just so you all know hes 27 yrs old. its time he started to really show us who he is and i havnt seen it

Great goal, especially against one of the toughest teams in Europe.

To be honest, I think Vidal is going to beat Marcisio to the starting spot. But we'll see what happens in the next few weeks.

Even from the little I have seen of Vidal, he is the kind who makes instant impact when entering the field, and is so versatile and even tough for a player his size. Marchisio surely scored a great goal, but has not been superstar-quality in recent years, and he is not exactly 19 years old and will continue to grow a lot in terms of skills imo.

Vidal is today a better player than Marchisio overall, and no matter how much you love him. Conte will see that, unless Marchisio somehow steps up, or Pirlo gets injured again etc. (I actually do wish him the best, but he just fades away for long periods, not living up to the hype of something more than mediocre atm)

It's funny though... In pre-season... 2 goals on his offical debut, season debut a goal and yet Marchisio is still in front. Conte is not about skill Momo, he's about Menality, and Marchisio is Juventus, Vidal isn't. Vidal is part of Juventus, but no where near the perspective Marchisio brings, and that's how it is. Conte made it clear on his press conference numerous times, Marchisio is the ideal player in Midfield and Pirlo is a guranteed starter as he started in every single game he has been called upon, so yes there are gurantees, and Marchisio and Pirlo are those guranteed, if Buffon wasn't guranteed, then Storari would of been used, when Buffon needs a break or is injured, then Storari is going to start. So Momo, even Buffon is.

Oh really? So Italy's most CONSISTENT midfielder out of a blue will flop? When has he flopped? As a winger? Sure... As an AM sure... as a CM, never in his career, so the odds in that happening is slim and none.

No I don't know, I don't look at pictures, I'm to old for that now, I refer to written statements

Marchisio is nowhere near a consistent performer...
However, I believe it is due to the fact that he has been used in so many different positions, now he can make his home in the middle where he is at his best.

I dont know about Pirlo but if thats your opinion on him I'll respect that, after all Juve fans know better about their players.

And as for Marchisio, I have'nt seen anything from him, he isnt even a regular player, apart from his goals against Inter and almighty Parma he has done or showed nothing.

But I agree the goal scored against Parma was a neat one.

We are all entitled to our opinions at the end of the day.

Even if I strongly disagree and would say exactly the same thing about Boateng and Flamini, Likewise our 'waste' Nocerino and Aquilani.

ya right you can say the same about any player and you can be 100% right about it, but it wont make Marchisio any better, whom I believe the topic is about.

Everyone can have an opinion. But don't put it across with an insult. Say "I do not rate Marchisio" Don't try and nullify his goal by making fun of the opposition.
