The amount of good songs in this FIFA13 soundtrack is incredible. This song is fantastic.

Listened to all of the 2nd Law...although it wasn't as bad as I was anticipating, it was still very average IMO, especially for a band of Muse's caliber- not even as good as The Resistance, which wasn't much good either. Man, I used to be so in love with this band... times change Sad

They're old music is still amazing though. Hope they get back to it.

Funny that, that they ended up heading downhill the same time Twilight gave them a large amount of popularity (and by that I mean, not the good kind, they were always fairly popular, just...the good kind of popular). I don't blame Twilight, even though I want to cause it's an awful series and all, but I think Muse was probably always headed in this direction after BH&R, but it hardly helped I'm sure. Of course when I talk about downhill and all, I mean relative to how good Muse used to be. In the large picture, compared with most bands of equal popularity, Muse is still decent. Although most of those bands are awful, so I'm not sure how much that's a compliment.

It's too bad really. Still keeping my fingers crossed. For some reason Muse wants to emulate Queen, and they can't pull it off correctly. Sorry Matt Bellamy Sad

I think they let fame get into their heads which isn't surprising considering their personalities. Used to be a massive fan few years ago, the first four albums are nothing short of brilliance. The last 3 songs are the only good ones in The Resistance imo. Don't even want to get started on The 2nd Law.

People say people grow and so do musicians but I say they've lost their core which makes them Muse in the first place. Radiohead one the other hand :bow:
