This first 10 minutes of this movie was pure quality from a musical standpoint. The dark ambient beat kicks it at the start, sets the tone, creates a ominous mood then hits you with a pervading sense of tragedy, then Nightcall kicks in.....electro house beat......builds on the dark ambient orginal.............almost hits you with resolution.....almost skipping the entire plot.
Seriously if they had cut at 10 mins it would get nominated for short film of the year.........mostly due to the music.

Fast Five
Puss in Boots
Contagion

Wrong thread?
Anyway..........
Limitless is a solid movie....
Fast Five is apretty good action movie
Source Code is a very good techno thriller
Contaigon is my favourite of the lot......it's pretty tight......glossy....tense.......I like it as a sort of doomsday thriller and I like Soderbogh alot. It's quite scary and realistic and try's to maintain some scientific accuracy which is impressive.
Source code and Fast Five are overall better than Limitless although personally I'd watch Limitless since it's quite unique......an original idea.
Fast Five is what you'd expect.....great stunts.....very good acting...decent plot.......if you're into action movies and cars you should watch it instead of Limitless.
Haven't watched Puss n Boots.

Re: The Music Room
Oh, just realised i posted it in the wrong thread.
Anyway, thanks for the recommendation rag, i will definitely download Fast Five just because of Dwayne Johnson.
Contaigon is also one of those kind of films that i'm curious to see. what do you recommend between Source Code and Limitless ?
BTW, mods please move this three posts to The Movie House thread.

True Trini?
My friend(s) listen to a different type of Reggae, they enjoy that conscious music with a message. I-Wayne, Tarrus Riley, Richie Spice, Queen Ifrica, etc. (Just to name a few)

This was the song they created for when we qualified for the WC.......it's played in every national team game..........I would think Trini's know this particualr song.

Re: The Music Room
They might know of the song, but they probably wouldn't go out of there way to show me it. I didn't know my friend in 2006 and 2010 qualifying wasn't pretty for the national team, he played with some of those players and usually finds himself disappointed when watching Trinidad play
There's a difference between knowing a song and enjoying a song. It's not really the type of song you would thrown on around our group. Not all of my friends were living out there during the world cup, most of these guys are 27+ and I'm not sure the last time they attended a game back home.
Do you know of the football team "W Connection"?

Lol....yea...dude.....I played for W Connection under 13 and under 15............ .I'm a horrible footballer though...so I decided to quit and just play for school.
Damn.....they're unlucky..........My dad is Trini and when we qualified for the WC in 06 he was still in Spain so he decided to take me to Germany.........the vibe in the Trini section from this song in Dortmund and Nuremberg was surreal
Yea I guess it's different......In Trinidad we really enjoy the song....I mean everytime we go to a football game we sing it and stuff but I guess it's more of a ritual than a song you'd show off to your friends.
