I saw he was releasing one a few hours ago and downloaded, but I haven't taken a listen just yet. As a project with no features, it should be pretty good to say the least.

I saw this on another board and I thought it was worth a discussion.

True or false, if Children of the Corn stayed together they would have been better than Wu-Tang

Lyrically they already were better, but the production of someone like RZA is what they were missing. My answer: CotC would've been better but less polished while Wu-Tang would've still gotten more mainstream appeal

I've read a few of those comparisons (Boot Camp Clik were also in the mix), but there are clear limitations in comparing them. No one could ever match RZA's style, but as lyricists yeah I think CotC had more skills as a collective.

I can't say there were any weak links among CotC. I can't say the same for Wu-tang.

Check out "Lincoln Way Nights", his full length album. It's going to be remastered, but the raw release is pretty good. Having signed with MMG, I hope his career gets the push it deserves.

Could have been while I was on break, so it was probably missed.

I was really feeling Smoke DZA, I'll definitely be checking out more of his work. I've really been looking to take on a new artist, it hasn't been easy finding someone new. Seems to have a real relaxed vibe, something that I can definitely work with. I'll let you know how it goes.

I did check out "Section.80" and found it to be a quality release. I think Kendrick Lamar will eventually grow on me, at the moment he gets love every couple of days.

I didn't continue to follow Cyssero like that, not sure why that is. Seems like it was a mistake, I just heard "When the Smoke Clears" today. Someone was asking for a copy of the track, I could get the guy to pm it to me. Not sure how that TY process works, or how long it takes. Just let me know, in the mean while I will post over on the JBTV thread and see if I can get my hands on the file.

Yeah, it seems like it's going to be hard to find. I even searched under his former name, Rockstar, still couldn't find it.
