Carvalho issue

Pepe and Carvalho completely ignored each other during training today. Didn't speak. Didn't make eye contact. Didn't acknowledge each other's presence.

Coentrao and CR7, on the other hand, couldn't give less of a shit about what happened with Portugal NT.

Wonder if Pepe is going to curb stomp Carvalho in the next few days lol.

In all seriousness, you can't have CB partners who don't speak to each other. You can't play central defense like that...

I say sell Pepe while his value is still high... Guy is an embarrassment to the White Shirt. Great player, terrible attitude. I still haven't got past the Kicking/punching incident, and there have been a few other incidents where he was just out of hand... Not that I respect Cavs for walking out like he did, that was a bit of a disappointment...

This is a big deal. Personally I don't think either of them is/should be in our long term plans. Carvalho is obviously aging and Pepe is a liability. Varane is good of course but is miles away from the quality we need at CB. He would get destroyed in the Champions League. Hummels!

Why are people upset at Pepe? Carvalho's the one that called Pepe's starting spot in question and it was Carvalho that stormed off the Portugal NT... Pepe is probably pissed that his Madrid and NT teammate would use him as the reason for his antics, and rightly so. If Carvalho had any brains, he would've talked to pepe.

In my view, Carvalho is completely at fault here.

Tbh this all seems like Carvalho is the troublemaker here and I hope he is the one that gets benched for this. as Sportsczy said before you can't have 2 cb who don't communicate with each other.

Hope to see Ramos shifted to cb (on Carvalho's place) for the next games and Arbeloa as rb or if Khedira is fit, then I would like to see Coentrao used as RB.

Will be very interesting to see how mourinho will deal with the situation anyway.

on the bright side maybe ramos will start playing center back. thats a much better partnership than pepe-carvalho especially now.

On a side note, his short fuse seems kind of strange Maybe, Mou talked to him prior to Portugal saying that he'll have a secondary role next year? We could only speculate. Fact is, his actions sucked big time

It's not going to an issue to be honest, some tensions were expected, but it wont last.

I don't think people are blaming Pepe on this particular incident, but on whether he is Madrid quality or not, and more specifically about whether he has enough sportsmanship to wear the white shirt.

well i rate him better than pique and thiago silva but thats just me though.As always everything outside madrid is gold for some fans.

Pepe is not Madrid quality??? Come on. He may not be the best in the world... but that's just because of his temper. If he didn't lose his cool once in a while, he would be considered as perhaps the best.
