Spain getting owned by Chile at Home
Vargas and Isla with the goals.
EDIT: Yeah I know Spain will probably go on to win this game anyway.

Chile are completely outplaying Spain. Could so easily be 3 or 4.
Sanchez has been superb as usual.

Xavi is the cancer of spain.
They played amazing this summer without him, almost same line up now with him, and they get owned again.
Is that a coincidence? Who knows, who knows.
He is hindering Alonso, who is in superb form.

It might also be Albilol's fault.

Spain defense is gawd awful,
this new thing of playing CMs in defense is getting over the head of some... Javi Marquez isnt doing a good job at all.
chile is too quick for them

Del God already stated he will use this match purely for experimentation as he wanted to try a a wider positional play with less interchanging movement and more static possession.
On any other day, We would have destroyed Chile.
But Kudos to Chile though

Re: Spain getting owned by Chile at Home
Fellow madrid fans, don't kill me, but I don't really rate Ramos in general.
He is just pretty boss, but not quality, even as a CB.
He can grow, he has potential, and he is a massive block, but he is unreliable and very wasteful when he attempts to attack.

Re: Spain getting owned by Chile at Home
I rate Ramos as a CB, but we definitely have a problem when he is playing RB.
it's way too up and down with him.
waiting for coentrao to be tried as RB, and carv benched

He took off Xabi Alonso.
This is simply too much.
TOO MUCH.
If Xavi suddenly plays halfway decent now, it is only because Iniesta is there.

Re: Spain getting owned by Chile at Home
Chile tied France in a friendly (although France should've won... two posts and missed sitter). They're very technical and aren't afraid.
Spain never really impressed me defensively without Puyol. They need to move Ramos to CB permanently to sure things up there.

spain need barca players at the core. Ramos is having a shocker. Iniesta and pedro are already making all the difference
