Sergio Aguero Discussion

I don't think we're really after Aguero anymore. Despite what the Santos prez is trying to do, has zero power in what Neymar decides since we're paying the exit fee. We'll even pay him more wages than Santos after all the sponsors they lined up. The international revenues generated by Madrid for Neymar will dwarf anything Santos can do... so he'll make exponentially more on his image rights, even at less than 100%.

It all comes down to whether Neymar will leave now or in January. My personal guess is that he'll come to Madrid now.

It's a shame really. If the Santos prez was not jockeying for Barca so much, Madrid would probably be cooperative. But we have to treat it as a hostile takeover now.

He won't. Santos is good... but not talented enough by a longshot to worry Barca. They'll be starved of the ball and the defense is not strong enough to hold.

he can stay at santos for a full season as far as im concerned

if inter was good enough to beat them in 06 and estudiantes gave them hell in 09,i think santos think they can pull something out

I think its best for all parties that Neymar stays for a full season there. I mean, who benefits from him coming in January or now, apart from Perez and his shirt sales?

Juventus is not guaranteed to go in europe next year, Inter and Milan have their seats locked up, and Napoli who is already better than them is improving as well....

Aguero... just a hunch. They lost out on Falcao and Aguero can easily play the wing/striker position for them like Anelka did with Drogba.

As soon as Tevez said he wanted to leave City it was quite obvious where Aguero would end up.

He has a far better chance playing in mancity than in real madrid. he is talented but not enough against the likes of Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain. Footballers go for playing time, not trophies. Raul is a great example of this. Higuain wud fight for his place in the sun if he isnt starting, aguero wud not do the same i feel.

wut u say pretty much defines mascherono. that worthless punk joined farca for the trophies, not playing time. he sure as hell didnt get minutes like he did at liverpool.
