I dont know but if we ( NUFC) have spent the last week trying to sign him i doubt he's on anything major as we dont really pay high wages anymore.

Unless Lyon have given him a pay raise he isn't on anything big. He is definitley within Arsenals wage structure.

I do get the feeling an AM should be signed to compete with Ramsey i personally feel he isnt ready to start week in week out and besides some competition is never a bad thing if he gets injured you are *bleep* again....

Sign Cahill, Andre and a AM and Wenger would have done very well.

TBF RG Enrique is extremely underrated he has very good technique, can pass has a great cross although a little inconsistent in thar regard and does'nt get beaten defensively despite playing for a mid table side last year he was only beaten 1 on 1 8 times compared to Evra's 23 and Ashley Cole was beaten 30+ times....

How he does'nt start for Spain is beyond me.....

Downing was a tactical buy as far as i know.

But even if it isn't about epl proven or not. Cissokho isn't that good, He is on the same level as clichy, more powerful but less athletic

Cissokho is not less athletic. He's just too expensive in terms of wages for Lyon. And Lyon really needs money right now...
