Our LB at this point will be one of Gaya, Cissokho, or Otamendi. Prefer Gaya tho.

Edit: I'm reading up and it seems that the main stumbling block are the EU spots available to Valencia.

as far as i know balanta was put on the back burner since our non-eu spots were taken by otamendi, de paul and what everybody assumed was the imminent signing of enzo perez... now de paul got his italian papers and perez is looking pretty unlikely until the ownership nonsense gets sorted out, but in the meantime lazio and galatasaray have moved in for balanta

still though, apparently we're trying to loan out ruiz and have a "left footed replacement" lined up, so who knows

What do you mean? I know about Rodrigo loan/transfer but what does that have to do with Lim/Valencia and Doyen Sports/Jorge Mendes.

I dont know if this is right but I believe Lim owns Doyen Sport which is a company that buys rights of players and they use super agent Mendes to get it done. So basically Mendes gets more clients and Doyens get % rights of more players so when a player is moved Mendes and Doyen Sport are at an advantage because they make alot of money out of it. They think they are doing a good thing because they make it possible for small teams to afford players but when a player is sold the club gets next to nothing the only ones benefiting are Doyen and Mendes

Mendes is basically a toxic waste you need protection to even touch never mind get rid off

Only the players owned by Doyens. Players are cheap in Spain anyways don't think there will be problems buying anyone but now that they have a rich owner it will be harder to get their players because they don't need to sell anymore
