Re: Valencia Thread
Canales Still On Valencia’s Agenda
Los Che still haven’t lost sight of the Real Madrid attacker.
Despite strengthening the attack not being a priority at Valencia, Sergio Canales who is edging closer to an exit from Real Madrid, is being closely monitored by the club. The player is an appealing choice for Unai Emery, and Valencia is an ideal destination for Canales should he leave Real Madrid.
Valencia’s priority is currently signing a left central defender to partner with Adil Rami, though information for other possible signings is made daily by the scouting staff.
Currently Real Madrid are looking to sell the player to a a foreign club to not help strengthen a domestic rival, though Canales wants to play for another club in Spain.

Didn't Miguel go to jail?
Good news with Del Horno. He apparently was killing the wage bill.

Hispano & Che, would you post the potential formation for this season!
Canales! Why! Yes he is a good player but the priority is defence.

Re: Valencia Thread
Scouting South America For A Defender
A Valencia scout has watched Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay and Argentina at the Copa América.
Valencia’s staff haven’t stopped looking for the icing on the cake for this season’s transfer window. That icing is considered to be a reliable centre back, who will fight it out with Rami, Dealbert and Ricardo Costa for a starting spot. Valencia are looking everywhere. A member of staff has even been in Argentina, watching the group phase of the Copa América, and according to SuperDeporte, this member of staff has watched Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia.
Javi Garrido, the man considered to be Braulio’s right hand man, is the member staff in Argentina watching live football. He watched Bolivia vs. Argentina in the tournament’s opening game. The Argentina CB pairing that day was Burdisso and Milito. There was also Marcos Rojo who played at left back. He’s young, left footed, has potential and can play in the centre. Rojo is just 21 and currently plays for Spartak Moscow.
Garrido also watched Brazil vs. Paraguay. Brazil’s CB’s were Thiago Silva (obviously unaffordable) and the veteran Lucio, who is currently on very high wages at Inter.
Uruguay vs. Mexico was another game attented by Braulio’s aide. 30 year old Lugano was at CB. He currently plays for Fenerbahce but could soon sign for Luis Enrique’s Roma. Valencia paid more attention to his partner howeverl Sebastián Coates. He’s a 20 year old CB who is yet to cross the Atlantic to start playing in Europe. He plays for Nacional de Montevideo.

Re: Valencia Thread
copied from what i posted on another forum...
Recycled sensationalist bullshit...
How exactly is it a U-turn? It's pretty much common sense that every Valencia player has a price so of course we wouldn't refuse a massive offer. Emery himself said in that quote that both the club and Mata himself want him to stay so nothing new really.
And massive lulz at Tottencrap. They got rejected by every single player they approached in January and now t'riffic Arry is desperately scrambling to keep their best player who wants to leave, why the hell would Mata go there.

mangala apparently won't play in the cl qualifier so he won't be cup tied for a cl team that he transfers to...
though i can't say i'm extatic about signing a 19 year old from belgian league to fix our defence...

- Undisputed starter for the Standard of Liege since he was 17 years old. He scores his first goal at the age of 18 in CL against Arsenal in the 2009/2010 season.
- Athletic defender (what's new in France lol) with a very big presence in his aerial duels Very sure of himself in that domain. He's also good enough technically to bring the ball up and start the offensive transition.
- Being followed by a lot of clubs, including Lille, Benfica, Udinese, Arsenal and Tottenham currently. Will very likely make a move this summer.
- There's so much young talent on defense in France that it's hard to see if he'll become a major component of the NT in the future. But his years of experience playing in a pretty good league and with European experience have given him a definite advantage.

Re: Valencia Thread
Valencia Launch Ruiz Move
The club has made an offer of around €8m to Napoli.
Valencia have today intensified their interest in Victor Ruiz, Napoli’s Italian centre back. Ruiz is expected to be Valencia’s next signing.
The Italian side were originally against selling after an injury to Miguel Britos. However, Manuel Llorente was in Monaco for the Champions League draw and he spoke to Napoli officials. Braulio Vázquez is now negotiating with the Italians.
There is total agreement between Valencia and the player. Now, we’re just waiting for an agreement between the clubs so that Ruiz can be announced as a new Valencia player for the next five seasons.
About an hour ago, Fran Guaita said that the deal “could be completed in the next few hours,” while Paco Polit stated, “It’s done. We have a partner for Rami.”
