Which one is better ?
Manchesters CR7 vs. Madrids CR7

For me it's Manchesters CR7. he was less selfish and could dribble better. the only thing he has improved in is his goal scoring record which is not a big accomplishment with La Ligas defenders.

He was selfish at Manu btw. CR7s at Manu was better dribbler than Messi at Barcas. I agree the fact that he hardly dribbles, therefore he depends of hes speed really.

He was amazing at manu, well suited to epl as he's a very powerful player. they have different dribbling styles though imo, Ronaldo is more about tricks etc, Messi just uses pace and directional changes to beat players.
That said I think powerful, fast players could play in any league, but I think manu r7 would have to edge it.

The older hes gotten, the more and more Ronaldo has relied on his speed rather than skill. Originally at sporting he wasnt jacked likehe is now, he was slim and relied alot more on skill. He wss still fast, tho not as fast. At Man U he had the perfect balance of speed and skill. Was just as fast as he is now, or close to it, but more skillful. Now at madrid, he relies on speed way too much. Still a very skillfull player, but not as much so as he was when he was younger.

i'm not sure what United you watched but Ronaldo has never or will never be a better dribbler than messi. He attempted more dribbles, los the ball more and was more selfish. messi runs through for or five people, even in world class defences like ours, Reals and Arsenals, Ronaldo coulnt even get past ashley cole or clichy ffs. Anyone that could match him for place made him redundant in a game. And liverpool as well. Better dribbler than messi my arse.

he is not as good a dribbler or that explosive
having said that he has become a much better finisher one of the best imo and also a much better passer.. and has improved his mental game too, his positioning sense has improved.. so
in pure explosive talent united's .. but for end product we like our own cr7

How is diving less (if its true) helping his game?
Its obvious the Man Utd Cristiano was better, he had better and more strict coaching and wasnt allowed to simply do what he liked. The intensity and demand that Sir Alex puts on players really helped him and you can see the difference between now and then.
