pedro and villa look rusty and frustrated and that honestly frustrates me.one of them needs to perform better as cesc is looking fresh and kicking ass already.

Agree with all. Abidal did make 1 or 2 important tackles though but he was subpar.
I want to mention Valdes. WTF was that? I've never seen that from him. He looked nervous with the ball at his feet, and made some bad clearances and passes. I was NOT confident in this game when he had the ball, which I usually am.

Messi was outstanding as usual. Every day that goes by, and he plays like this, he moves closer and closer to becoming the greatest ever. He makes defenders and goalies look stupid on a consistent basis.

Great game overall. But what was up with Fabregas stretching on the sidelines for over 20 minutes? I thought he was gonna subbed in for Xavi, and that Pep was making him watch from afar to learn what Xavi does.

Pedro annoyed me today. How he was the last sub I cannot figure.

Villa didnt do anything special, but at least he didnt constantly mess up with the ball and gift possession away.

Pedro's decision making and touches were horrible.

Overall, I am happy with the win, but the performance was less then convincing.

Happy with the win, but not convinced by our performance..

we have 2 tough matched against Villareal & ACMilan in the nest 20 days, both@ Camp Nou.. we need to win these games & return to our best ( with time, we get better physically & more fit)!!

I think we arent playing that well and losing possession more then usual because we are playing a lot of high balls.

We are playing these balls because we have had the starting foundation triangle in place (Busi, Puyi, Pique). If one is missing, you may get away with it, but not two or like today all 3.

Fitness also plays a part of course.

I would say many of these errors will automatically be eliminated when the team reaches full fitness which I understand happens about five games into the season. Just before this game they were showing the replay of the UCL 2011 final and anyone can see a very clear contrast in the physical levels of the team then and now. We are quite far from being able to play at that level as of now especially from a physical point of view.

Alot of the people that cause the issue dont even watch the game so they are not aware of decisions that dont go Barca's way or just chose to ignore them and bring up every decision that goes barca's way no matter how slight....

I have had enough of the bs obsession anyway i have decided to stay out of all Barca-based general section threads unless its positive.....

no it isn't possible. and it's really annoying seeing people screaming about diving, playing with more men, not awarding penalties etc while they look away on decisions against Barca or perfectly correct decisions in this game.

Especially the Madrid camps passion is moving to say the least.
if I was a Porto fan I'd buy Madrid season tickets at once
