Bayern Looking for a new striker....

Any Ideal, Jupp said "the question is: where can Bayern Munich find a sttriker who has quality, who can integrate easily, who has character, and speaks German? I think that we can compensate with our current squad. I do not believe in quick fixes," he told reporters."

Personally our buying option should include veteran striker who previously played for a big club and very good in finshing. players like, Pizarro, Santa Cruz, Raul(why not...?) Owen, Drogba, Anelka. Yet whosever is coming has to recognize that this is a bench role. otherwise I would have suggested Cisse in freiburg but I don't think he'll accept such role.

Olic will be back in 8 weeks. It's not like eternity. We also have Petersen who should be given chances. Mueller can also play there.

I'd say it's a waste of money to get another striker. In any case, we get one in January. There aren't many good strikers lying about, anyways.

We are fine now but one more injury or suspension, then this becomes a problem. Olic hasn't played for almost a year and you could clearly see that he was not fit and will not be fully fit until maybe after 3-4month

Playing Peterson is an experiment thats yet to be tested, how about if he fails, also Muller is not a striker I know a lot of people have been suggesting that he should play as striker but I strongly doubt if this will work because his too weak to be striker and falls down easily.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is right we need a backu-up striker as time is against us.

anyway, if we are really want to get a striker, then my top choice is Ivo Ilicevic (K'slautern) or Steffan Keißling (Bayer04)

It's a good thing we don't have much injury prone players. This Olic injury is strange, probably a side effect of being out so long because Olic is a rock. I'd be patient.

Personally I think Bayern option should include veteran strikers like Raul, Drogba, Pizarro, Santa Cruz since they will accept the rotation or bench role.

Other wise if they want a striker that can compete with Gomez, they could try Cardazo, godolski, Papiss Cissé (Very Good this one)

Are being serious, Van Buyten as a targer man, are you kidding me..?

Bayern currently have just 3 strikers Gomez, Olic and Peterson. Olic will fully recover maybe after 3month and Peterson is not a proven striker. so what happens if Gomez is suspended or get injured.

Bayern Needs a top striker someone with different style like Tevez or Ageuro who can compete with Gomez, not playing Van Buyten as a striker(that ideal is disrepectful to Bayern)

No need for another striker. If you want a mobile poacher type then Nils Peterson is enough, if you want an allround striker, move Muller in CF and Kroos behind him. I see no need to invest there. Bayern are better off with another CB Very Happy

Satan Cruz isnt what he was 2 years ago.Was awful for Blackburn last season couldnt hit a barn dorn.Bayern can do a lot better.

Jupp is a tactician that like to change tactic every now and then and it doesn't help that Gomez is the only top striker that Bayern have and untop of that Gomez is a very static player with just one style and can play in one position which is also very similar to Peterson.

Peterson is not a Proven striker his just another young lad from Bundesliga 2, you don't expect him to stand any chance against top teams like Barcenola, Real Madrid, Man United etc. even Gomez struggle against Inter.

Muller is not a striker Van Gaal tried it before and it didn't work, his too weak to play as a lone striker. (Please no one should come up with this option again or playing Van Buyte as a striker, Van Buyten can only play as emergency striker e.i if the team needs a goal and decide to push players forward towards the end of the match for long and high balls.).

Olic is 32 and this injury just probably ends his career or at least reduce his attibute.

Bayern needs another stiker at least all the top teams have 2 to 3 top strikers except Bayern.

Drogba is on the decline in a big way now.

My guess is that Bayern go after Forlan. He's the only less expensive very good technical striker out there.

Forlan just had post-WC mehness methinks. Has happened a lot with older players going deep in a WC year. This will be the year to see if he's really declined.

Besides, it's not like Drogba is a changeup for Gomez really.

Bayern would be better served to get a creative midfielder. They get nothing done unless it comes from the wings.

Thomas Muller is not in decline, he had two assist in his last game, one of the best young second striker out there.

Drogba still have a lot to offer and I believe Jupp can bring the best out of him thats if we want a veteran striker, the kind of role Raul played for Schalke last season. but is most likely Jupp wants a striker with great technique and different style of play from target man.

The question is where can you find such striker, Forlan is too old, Aguero and Tevez are too expensive.

Van Persie might just fill in the boot but his too injury prone and we don't want another glass man.

seriously I dont know where Bayern can get their ideal kind of striker from...?

they should get cisse, who'd be a great backup for gomez and maybe even more - who knows. 15 mill shouldn't be much of a problem for bayern anyway.
