The Force is strong with LuK
Hey Guys,
Why don't we go for the kill with Luka Modric before Chelsea does? He is a hot prospect, right? Tottenham are after Lass, we are after a Kaka replacement and strengthening the depth of our Midfield. I am sure we can reach an agreement between both clubs esp that the relationship betw both clubs can be considered good.
Add to that Schweinsteiger and we will have the strongest midfield in the worl. Even stronger than Barca in the long run. All what's remaining to do is strengthening our backline and adding Neymar to our attack force (I still prefer to add another striker). Schweinsteiger is set to join Milan for as low as 25 Mil according to latest reports. Those reports might be false, but still if he s being linked to other clubs then the is a chance this might happen.
We have missed on signing Aguero, who I believe if we did sign him, we would have gone and beaten Barca in both last two games, and all the season. Having someone Like Aguero disturbs the balance of the other team and their defense can't participate in creating chances as efficient as they normally can.
I am convinced that we have no problem to translate this plan into reality if we want to, so why not go for the kill?

Re: The Force is strong with LuK
Well at least we can sign modric then?
All it take sis just open negotiations with tottenham, give them lass and pay like 30 mill on top of that, we don't want to miss on him. I mean isn't that possible? Correct me if I am wrong, and its not like we are not missing in the midfield deparment if kaka joins psg.
As for Schweinsteiger, I agree, his case is hard to crack, but personally I wouldn't mind buying him for 40 mil?
Imagine just how strong we become if all this or half of it happens! Its even tough on the imagination to digest.
What bothers me is, almost everyone agrees this is a good plan, and we are capable of signing them since we didn't sign a third striker ( we have money, no?) So why not go for it? Why?

Bayern has 0 debt, and they make a lot of money. Their new stadium proved to be a huge boost for the club, and they were 4th on Deloitte financial analysis in 2010, clubs making the most money.
their transfer campaign is exemplary, they spend little (too little sometimes) but well. Fairly young team, they had young pieces like Usami, Nils, Boateng, they have Kroos and Mueller, and we all know how successful the german new youth development programs are. They have the captain of the u17 team that was so good, and when they will go after those other kids, knowing it's Bayern, they wont blink.
Bayern is just fine.

Re: The Force is strong with LuK
Well the chance of Kaka leaving is still not 100% in this transfer window so no point in getting any player. I think if kaka stays we won't look for any backup playmaker until February/March next year. We'll wait and see if Canales and Sarabia become an instant success. If they do then we'll simply get them back instead of getting new players.
I'll be watching some of Getafe's games this season and really hope Sarabia would shine quickly

good player but not a madrid type signing. wont see it happen, though like i said he is a fantastic player and i think madrids playing style would suit him.

I don't understand if this guy's incredibly naive, or an incredibly mediocre troll.
*Watches some Youtube videos*
"Hey, that Steven Gerrard looks pretty good, we should buy him. Thiago Silva might fit in Madrid's lineup, how about we pick him up along with RVP. That Andres Iniesta would be perfect for our midfield, maybe pair him up with Schweinsteiger and we're good to go!"

As per the latest reports, Chelsea are just a few days (maybe 3) from landing Luk. We could also participate in the bidding and raise the bid price. They already are going to land mata, Remember, tottenham wants Lass as well, so both teams can benefit. Luk won't stay for long with Tottenham and they know it. My point is, this action item of signing him esp if kaka leaves is still in the cards.

Re: The Force is strong with LuK
Modric is more of a CM, we already signed Sahin for that position.
Plus why do we need to replace Kaka? Ozil can be seen as his replacement.

No point spending 30-35m on a bench player imo
he's not any better than our current starting options

Re: The Force is strong with LuK
dunno guys. It's amazing how vast the difference in our opinions is. I actually find signing Luk as a great catch where as you guys think he's un-necessary. Sure you express your admiration to some of his play, but you find him unfitting to madrid, and a waste of money. The standard deviation between our opinions is really big.
