We will see how it turns out. I know about Casemiro, he is a DM/CM kind of player, supporting mid in the same breath as a DDR for example, B2B

It's between Fernando and Casimiro ...Casimiro is Sabatini's first choice, don't ask me why but he is.I'm sure the kid is talented and all but we're already taking big enough risks as it is with Bojan,Lamela and Angel we need some experience and thats what Fernando would give us...

I'm hoping for Fernando, esp considering the price 11 million is a *bleep* steal ...

Yes terrible.

We most likely won't be keeping him.

I don't understand what has happened to this guy. With Palermo, he was a bloody beast, showed the potential he has. I would go as far as saying he was showing world class form. But, then, for some reason, he moves to Wolfsburg and struggles, showing mediocre form. I convince myself that he hasn't transitioned well to the Bundesliga, fair enough, but I look at him with Roma and I say the same player showcasing mediocre performances but for a different team. Such a shame, really.

He was pretty damn good Denmark back at the WC as well.

I dunno though...very curious case....it's like all of his mental ability with and without the ball has evaporated since joining Wolfsbug.

this is what hype does to some players, i guess.. they start believing too much in it, and forget to work hard.. it's too bad though. i can only remember my father-in-law's (who's danish) wise words when i asked about simon kjær back at this palermo time: "eehh.... too much hype.. we have to be careful with these things.. let us all wait and see.. " hehehehe

Sikken leder, sikken helt.

Yesterday was home to one of the best displays of leadership I've seen on a football pitch.

On Eriksen's collapse he was the first one to respond, support his neck, get the team to cover from from photography, console his wife and a lot more.

Kjær already is one of my favourite centerbacks and one I love to watch at Milan but he has aged well into his career becoming legit one of the best out there now, and anyone should take example by how he was during Eriksen's incident.

For me no doubts he should be next Milan captain but  I thought it already before yesterday, on telegram I came across a   poll ( who should be next Milan captain etc ) where   fans ( mainly Milan fans)  had voted mainly for Kessie and meh ( I voted for Kjaer) ... now no doubts I suppose, there are players born for being captains

Whatever Kessie is he is not a leader.

Zlatan is within the locker-room and when things get sloppy but Kjær's all-round leadership easily makes him the best candidate.

He never was a leader originally from Wolfsburg to Roma to Sevilla but that also was because he is prone to errors.

Now he has grown into it and displayed that by potentially saving Eriksen's life.

On Kessie I remember that kit vs Acerbi ... how could be a better captain Laughing

honestly I didn't know Kjaer as leader , but I 've often heard him talking (and yes, smart person ) or I've heard Eriksen talking about Kjaer

I already knew they were best friends, it was known, whoeover follows Serie A already knew this bromance

It affected me when in March ( Eriken had finally conquered Inter and so he began with the words too ) he said how Kjaer had been decisive for his  integration in new reality . he had helped him very much since he was in Italy, both for the league and for language , for everything . A daily support, despite the rivalry on pitch. It's rare to see a similar thing for two players in two rival clubs.
But Danish players in Italy always leave good memory also for the human aspect ( and  everyone could say this also about Eriksen, a man who never said a word even when Conte insisted to bench him, great professionist) .. Jorgensen , Laursen, Helveg, Tomasson, Kjaer , Eriksen ... just Poulsen was exception because of Euro 2004 Laughing
