Nishank. Like I said, he didn't contribute to nothing today and was really underwhelming. Maybe he will come good in the next match.

I am still shocked baring Coloccini we have built a team together for basically the price of Henderson.

Especially as we are the club that spent 10 million on Jean Alain Boumsong LOL.

Nani, Roony, Lampard, Torres, Barry, Hazard, Persi, Nasri...all have a bad game or two. Even a run of poor form. That doesn't mean they are over-hyped or anything.

Henderson is just 20 and got about 12-15 years left in him. Aren't we going to give him even one!!!

Henderson cost 16m. N'gog might go to Sunderland for 5m. Basically spent 11m for him.

Also, you can't really judge him when your team can't touch the ball.

The myth that Henderson is shite should be buried now and forgotten. The guy is an engine in our midfield. Shows the world why he's so much better than Allen with every single minute on the pitch. Rodgers completely benched him for the first two months of this season in PL but he's fought for his spot and is now proving why he was worth £16m. He's finally living up to his price tag.

Henderson has been putting in excellent shifts for almost two months now. Really like how he's coming into his own - he's everywhere throughout the game popping up with important moments. His goal today was well deserved with the way he's been playing, I'm really happy for him.

Can't exactly genaralize on such a mass group of fans as for all the ones criticizing Hendo, there was another mass who held massive faith in him along with praising his overlooked performances.

As for this forum, we have been nothing but supportive for him along with recognizing his contribution in the Red shirt

Bro we've been slagging him off because he was a waste of money until now. You don't watch our games so why do you bother to make a half assed comment like that. If you would watch us, you would know that it's not that one goal that's making us praise him. He's been stellar for the best part of 2/3 months now.

And like Arq pointed out, he didn't get nearly as much hate like Downing, Carroll, Adam, or Cole were getting. Because we knew he had the tools to become good and live up to the fee.
