As of now, and the way the team is shaping, La Liga is the only trophy we can look up to, and even that is not guaranteed. With a defense like that, our team is not cut for the knock out tournaments. Let's face it, folks, the champions league is too hot for us. We did not deserve to win tonight.

I do not expect us to compete with big guns like chelsea, united, and even Milan and City.

Sorry, but that's the truth, plain and simple.

Even if we did compete with all of them, its still nothing special and only expected.

All replies, including mine will not change the fact that as of now, we are treading on thin ice.

As of now, we lost a battle, but if we project the outcome into the future, we will lose the war. That's a given fact.

Mourinho will shuffle his cards and make the necessary tweakings with what he has.

But we have touched the limit of many of our players; a point where they cant improve more. Some players have limited abilities including physical ones. Marcelo is one. Marcelo will never improve defensively. As much as i hate to say it, he doesnt hold a bright future in madrid, and we will suffer if we entrust the LB position to him.

Iker is another player who has reached his physical limits. Iker can improve by working on his mental issues, and lack of confidence but the problem with that is that he needs help. He cant do it by himself.

alot of the things huntsman says are to the core sometimes semi realistic. his latest post kind of implying that our squad is not good enough i do not agree with though.

i agree with the iker thing 100 percent.

i dont know if huntsman mixes both absurdity plus genius together and comes out like he does, but huntsman i give you the pat in the back for being able to fck with some peoples mind all of the time.

Also whats the status on xavi and puyol? How much of their season do you think they will play?

Xavi is still the supreme lynchpin of that side I suspect he'll continue getting a good amount of games with Fab slowly being introduced into the team's formation and philosophy. Puyol, think his days are kinda numbered honestly.

As for Busky, I would gladly admit I think he is a good player but I also think he's very limited to what he can really do. And considering Real have been way more physical, what else can he do but dive or pass the ball off?!
