The problem to me, is in midfield. They lack cohesion offensively an defensively. Give away the ball a bit much, don't play enough ground passes sometimes. And when the momentum is with the opposition, we don't play many ground balls at all, we just go for over the top balls and the opposition retain possession.

vermaelen makes a big difference in our defense. we can really stick anyone at LB as long as they stay in position (anybody but Gibbs basically) and the defense will be rock solid.

our midfield is about as creative as a wooden table though. and chamakh looks awful

I too feel that way. Song had mixed game today, Rosicky was ghost and gave away ball very cheaply but Ramsey looked to be in form. Him and Wilshere will be the future of arsenal.

Yes.. Chamakh playing centre is not working at all.. Too slow and he is not brilliant enough to shoot or dribble.. And we play him as the lone striker...

Sigh.....I don't wanna say it but this is what i feel.
Everyone is saying Ramsey and Wilshere is the future. I gotta be honest with ya'll i don't see it. Wilshere yea, but Ramsey nah. I dunno i know he hasn't played too many games after comin back from that injury, but i haven't really seen him do much that convinces me he will be great. However it doesn't mean he won't be great, i'm just not seeing it.
