Strange that no one has showed themselves prepared to discuss this in a formal setting, instead choosing to take isolated pot shots without any discussion of the context of the situation.

This in itself is apparently a sufficient reason for ignoring Abate and absolves my argument from having to stand up to rebuttal or other points about his qualities.

Abate did a pretty good cross for Pato when he scored the second goal in the derby.

That was such a modest view of things (going by his interview). And it didn't read like false modesty and all that. I really hope he continues to improve and gets at least a call up.

Not necessarily, no. I said he is not at their level, and he is also not worldclass. Maicon is still much better as you Milan fans claim that Abate is amazing because he can be offensive as well, so by that standard he looks like he could start on a 14th place team if you compare his offense to that of Maicon, Dani Alves, Sergio Ramos.

He admits there are good enough fullbacks for the national team and that he needs to improve and grow, who knew someone improving and growing is considered the best.

You know what's funny? When you had in your signature... 'Milan Made in Italy' in which you favored nationality and 'Inter Made in China' when they have more of their players on the national team now. Funny huh? Contradictions. No one has showed themselves prepared, well if you see in the other pages I beg to differ. By the way, nobody is always obliged to respond everyone, I didn't even see your post. So I don't understand how people aren't prepared for this because they did not respond to you. And for your arguments, I've already been through them before. So there's no need to re-explain.

No no Cro. The ALMIGHTY Abate intended for that to happen. He wanted it to appear as a shot so it would not be closely monitored until it turned into a cross. Similarily to how Abate evolved from a mediocre player last season to worldclass this year.

But i have to give him something, year before he had one assist for opposing team, and now he had one accidental assist for his team, who knows maybe this year we can see one intentional assist
