Suarez was quite obviously fouled for the penalty call. Carroll's was 50/50 and one that's ignored more often than not when it's the home team's goal.

We are looking good, but definitely would like to see a little more composure and possession in the second half. Downing looks great so far and Enrique seems to be doing well defensively. He's played some good balls forward as well.

As for Carrol's goal, it was 50/50, and as Red mentioned, it is more often than not given to the home team. The red card seemed likely. Can't believe he got off with just a yellow.

Flano was very poor today. Downing first half was good but he went missing in the second. Carroll was meh today. I wish Adam had taken that PK.

First half pretty good.Should have taken our chances in the 1st half.2nd half bit disappointing but this just the first match we will get better with games.We need time for the team to gel might take a few games to really peak.Also though referee ruined our play with too many stop start whistles when not much foul.

Overall not disappointed with the result though the result wasnt great.
