As far as Rami... he looked darn good against Liverpool and Barca in the Europa and CDR finals. Kept Coutinho and then Neymar in check. For him, he needs the pressure of big games. He struggles during league seasons due to lapses in concentration.

Looks like he's in form. Rami-Kos isn't that bad especially since Sagna/Evra know what they're doing. It's experienced. You don't have the talent level of a Varane in there... but Varane hasn't been all that great this year as he keeps getting injured and isn't a regular as a result.

Just can't afford any more injuries there.

Rami - Kos is not bad even if Varane is going to be missed. Rami was a starter during euro 2012 so that's a plus.One year ago no one could have guessed that France was going going to play without his best ST and CB.

Koscielny is France's best CB. Varane should become a starter before we can start taking him seriously.

Imo it should be Matuidi vs Kanté

As incredible Matuidi has been for the team, Kanté has the quality to take his place from the start. ( won't happen tho.)

Matuidi is actually better than Kante... clearly in fact.

kind of glad Benz isn't on the team for the Euro... he's really hit or miss in the big games. At least with Giroud and Gignac... you're not really counting on them as the go-to guys in the big games. I trust the other guys on the team more than Benz.

Is varane making he euros? Because if not, seems matuidi/lass will have to work real hard to make up for his absence.

I don't think we'll win this... too many injuries at CB and suspensions. Basically putting a very different starting 11 for the Euro than we have previously played. I don't think a team can figure out synergies that quickly.

Rami-Kos looked piss poor.  Very concerned.

Cameroon came in playing hard and France was looking to walk the match...  so it started badly and then it became iffy.

Payet was really poor.  Very imprecise other than a couple of moments.

Giroud was a statue but scored.  Don't expect more from him.

Coman was fantastic.

Really need Griezmann and I'm also curious to see how Gignac looks. Things are a bit too predictable with this lineup. Granted, the guys are obviously looking to not get injured first so you're not seeing any hard runs other than Matuidi who always plays the same way.

Missed most of the match. Will catch the last 20 mins

Only positive is that every team looks shit atm so its probably a matter of 2-3 friendlies that France might start looking better.

Most players have played over 50 matches as well.

France is so unlucky with injuries. Shame that Diarra is out, I thought he would be a sure starter. Schneiderlin is meh. From what I understood after reading L'Equipe article, he played 45 minutes vs Cameroon and after the game told coach that he still has some problem with knee that troubled him during season and is not 100% fit for Euros so Deschamp replace him with Schneiderlin. I'd rather have 70% fit Diarra than 100% fit Schneiderlin.

The issue is he can't start and the knee is a timebomb... and DD is actually doing him a solid by protecting his career. He's looking for a club remember.

Kante is just as good if not better as a DM. If in fact DD starts Kante, I have no problems.

Depth is an issue however. Cabaye, Sissoko and Schneiderlin doesn't exactly inspire you if one of the top 3 is unavailable.

I also think Schneiderlin got trolled by LVG just like many others this season... including Schweinsteigger and Herrera. Just the wrong coach for these guys. For some reason, he doesn't like B2Bs.

We don't have any competition until maybe even the semis given our draw. Definitely to the quarters though.

Oh and we always play crap in friendlies. Don't really take them seriously which is why our FIFA rankings suffer.
