Brilliant signing..

I must say that they've actually signed a better replacement..

Nilmar is way better than vucinic..and Roma are building one solid competitive team..

Nilmar is great. A little steep at 24m, but he'd fit Roma's style very nicely.

24M is too good of an offer to pass for Nilmar but Villarreal virtually closed shop after selling Cazorla

Villareal have not really made many acquisitions this summer. Why would they sell Nilmar when they did not sell Rossi!

I generally agree with the above two posts....Villarreal just sold one of their best attackers in Cazorla....I highly doubt they'll part with another one, if not for some serious cheddar.

We're not going to pay 24m for him. Just not seeing it. Not when a quality CB is our primary concern.

Ok but it isn't a done deal by any means. We only have an agreement in place with Nilmar, we still have to strike a deal with Villarreal who are asking for 24 million euros. We offered around 16 million euros I believe.

I thought Villareal were bringing in Arteta, I figured after Carzola was sold it would be a sure thing.

But if they sell Nilmar this late in the transfer window with the CL play off spot coming up, they might as well also sell Rossi since Villareal will be crap

If your going to be crap and sell all your players, might as well go full on crap and not do it half ass

Much harder to play in Serie A than it is in Spain...

Also we're not a Man City ,Malaga or PSG we don't have loads of money to throw around ..

I wouldn't dismiss it right away. They did say that, but they seem to be willing to listen to offers. We're going to have trouble in negotiating the price since they don't really want to sell him, but he has already agreed to move to Roma and the player's will is always an important factor. But of course we'll have to sell either Barusso or Simplicio first to free up a non-EU spot.
