Here I was thinking you had to play well in big games to be a big game player.

Obviously I missed some underlying criteria

Pedro is a big game player. Though probably not for Spain. If anything, this season showed how key a player Pedro is for Barcelona. Although i do agree Adrian should have been included, i dont think VDB would have started him. He must be taking Pedro for the goals as a sub.

And Adit, stop talking about what happened 4 years ago. Torres is not the same player now. He lost half of his pace after that injury.

He is horrible now.

Im not a torres band wagoner,i actually think he dont deserve call up but so do Pedro. Both are here because of the distant past.

Yeah, he is horrible.. Yet in Big games when he's fit, he scores 2 goals in the Copa Final 2 days ago.... like he did against Shakhtar, ManUtd, Estudiantes, his goals against Inter Milan, ACMilan and Real Madrid in recent years...

Pedro is the best option and most effective now, he should be called and Start in the absence of Villa...

But 0 other people in the country can offer anything similar to Navas (maybe Joaquin but he's not good anymore).He's not better than the AM's but he's different, that's why he's going.

Joaquin was amazing for Malaga this season but unfortunately he is injured(or was at the end of the season)

Callejon is better and would offer more than him also Adrian could have been picked as a winger which is the position he has been playing for the most part for Pathetico, that way he can add another forward

The experience of Pedro is a big factor... I think the discussion about his class and form drives no where.. Why to criticizes Del Bosque if you don't even know for sure who's gonna start? Wait at least for the 1st match with Italy.. It's going to be a good test!

Navas is a typical english winger.... aka run to the byline and cross

That type of play doesnt suit Spain or spanish football at all

Plus he wasnt very good this season either, at least Callegoat has a case going for him in that regard
