Squads for "Germany - Brazil" next week
Germany:
goal: Neuer, Wiese
defense: Aogo, Badstuber, Boateng, Hummels, Träsch, Lahm, Höwedes
midfield: S. Bender, Gündogan (1st call-up), Götze, Rolfes, Schürrle, Kroos, Reus, Müller. Schweinsteiger
forwards: Podolski, Cacau, Godmez, Klose
Is Schmelzer injured or did Löw snub him? Anyone know the Brazilian squad?

i'd like to see guendogan and schweinsteiger play together. prolly not gonna happen as it could turn out too offensive, but still...

Re: Squads for "Germany - Brazil" next week
Starting lineup should be:
We all know Ozils gonna hold a future spot for a long time, but I think Podolski will too, and Gotze will take the right wing spot. So put Poldi in the center as thats where he plays for Koln, with Gotze and Muller on the wings, and try Gomez up top. Also, I think the future backline should be Beck-Hummels-Mertesacker-Lahm, so Hummels and obviously Lahm should start, but Howedes and Boateng have potential too. And after Bender and Dortmunds performance thjs past season, I think Bender could definitely beat out Khedira for a starting spot. Thatll be a hell of a fight.
Neuer
Lahm Hummels Howedes Boateng
Schweini Bender
Muller Podolski Gotze
Gomez

No my friend, I never meant to say Brazil's league is weak, also Brazil is my 2nd favorite NT after Albania. I'm just saying that there are some players playing in Europe should get a call up, never mind the rejected offers and stuff, give them (Marcelo, Hulk) a chance at least in this friendly.
Also I'm trying to say that Brazil isn't Brazil anymore, they have only 2-3 superstar status players unlike before, when we were only seeing 2-3 average players and 5-6 superstars in their line-up.

Re: Squads for "Germany - Brazil" next week
dude, our last generation died 1 year ago, what do you expect?
And our lineup is still far from "average".We only have 5 players from the brazilian league, which other than fred, are not average at all.geez you gotta hate when people dont rate players because they dont play for madrid, barca, inter, milan etc.We have great players, but nobody rates them yet, people expect too much. Our squad was crap in 2001 and became world class 1 year later

Re: Squads for "Germany - Brazil" next week
imo I rate Leandro Damiao higher than Fred and probably Jonas.
Dede is really good, O Mito will get his chance to shine in the back line with Thiago Silva o David Luiz.
idk why Fernandinho got called-up. If theres anyone from Shakhtar that I want on this squad..would have to be either Willian o Douglas Costa. They add SOOOOOOOOOO much pace and can open up defenses really well.

Fixed for you
Few points:
Khedira>>> Bender, not even in discussion, maybe in 2 years time
Podolsko plays SS in 4-4-2 or on the left in 4-3-3. You will never see him in AM.
Götze is the default AM whenever Ozil can't play.
Löw doesn't play Boateng on the left when Aogo and Schmelzer are fit.
Höwedes might start over Hummels and Höwedes can play DM too next to piggy.

Re: Squads for "Germany - Brazil" next week
I'd love to see this midfield one day:
Khedira - Schwein
Özil - Götze - Kroos (all 3 constantly changing positions)
What an attacking midfield that would be! Kroos is soo wasted playing deep imo.
