Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
Since days that reports emerged about Milan having captured Mexes and Taiwo, we have spent months of relative calm with some ups and downs on the Club's cardiograph, but fasten your seat belts, we got some road ahead!
Yes, they said we're this close to Witsel.
And yeah, they said Ganso is already ours.
But nothing's for certain now, except the fact that we're gonna be busy in the coming weeks, and opinions vary about how many new faces will appear in San Siro.
The domino effect is still well working, i.e. the one-comes-one-goes rule that Galliani approved for us is no doubt in place.
The mister X saga is fast developing, and as the choices are narrowing down, we're being left with the last 2-3 names that papers are linking us to.
Then there's the important issue of Cassano's disharmony with Max's requirements and our technical needs, in addition to the guy himself's quest to play as many games as possible to have the chance of wearing Italy's no.10 shirt in Poland and Ukraine.
The bad boy is widely considered as the key to our fancy transfer activity, just like Borriello and Huntelaar were last year; and with the out-of-place duo's departure, came Ibra and Robinho with truckloads of quality in their play.
We've been longing for an Ibra deputy for quite some time, and at the same time, for bringing a real diavolo enigma home. Signing Balotelli could address two matters simultaneously.
If you notice, as the mercato is reaching its climax Balotelli has begun to talk and act more, and make no mistake, it's not the dumb boy talking, it's sly, son of a bitch Raiola who's talking through Mario's mouth.
Of course, Galliani has many sly SOB friends in Football, but Raiola is the guy who actually made good things happen last summer and now plans to insert another of his clients in the nice place that is named AC Milan.
Add to all that Berlusconi's, Galliani's, Gattuso's and most fans' burning desire to see the legendary golden boy back in his memorable no.22 jersey.
Three weeks of talks and less than one week of pure action from Galliani could set us for a big jump, one that will make us stand next to Europe's big boys once again.
The market's weather is getting hot, so hot.
It's getting so hot I wished I could live in the oven for a while.
Players we are seriously linked to right now: Montolivo, Aquilani, Fabregas, Kaka, Ganso, Balotelli
Players we could surprisingly end up making offers for: Schweinsteiger, Drogba
Players probable to leave: Cassano, Emanuelson, Paloschi, Flamini
Now, my custom transfer packages for the summer:
Inexpensive: Kaka (loan), Aquilani (6m), Balotelli (loan)
Adequate: Kaka (loan), Montolivo (7m+half of Paloschi), Balotelli (20m)
Expensive: Kaka (loan), Montolivo (10m), Balotelli (20m), Schweinsteiger (30m)
Dreamy: Kaka (loan), Montolivo (7m+half of Paloschi), Fabregas (40m), Balotelli (20m)
Special offer: One of the above packages plus ***Ganso in January***
So Silvio, what's it be?
Any drinks?

I'd be thrilled with Adequate without Kaka. Monti and Balo would be great signings and then we can expect Ganso in jan.

For me, Dreamy is: Montilivo (10m), Fabregas(40m), and Schweinsteiger(30m)
Plus Ganso is January.
Now THAT is a CL worthy transfer campaign.

Re: Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
A solution that will accomplish a goals, and that is most importantly having a very strong team (dream team) for years to come, and adding more Italian QUALITY and keeping Milan with it's historical approach would be,
1) Schweinsteiger
2) Aquillani OR Monty
3) Balotelli
4) POLI the guy is almost forgotten I dont know what is holding us from approaching him.
Now imagine a team:
-----------------------------Abiatti-------------------------------
Abate--------------Nesta----------T.S-------------------Taiwo
------------------------------MvB----------------------------------
---------------------------------------------Bastian---------------
---------------Boateng---------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------Robinho-------------------
--------------------Pato---------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------Ibra--------------------------------
Bench:
Balo, Poli, Gattuso, Ambro, Mex, Yepes, Aquillani, Paloschi, Pippo, Zamb, Antonini.

Re: Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
I say get Balo and sell Paloschi! Problem solved! I really think the only reason Balotelli isn't wearing the Rossoneri colors is because his behavior and attitude problems. Well he's still tied to Manchester City for a few years so his price tag is a hefty one which is another reason, but once this guy calms down which may be never he'll end up in Milan again.

I don't know the actual quality of him since i've never seen him play
But I think Allegri is preferring our Primavera over him since we called up so many young midfielders into the first team like Calvano, Fossati and De Sciglio

Re: Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
You can tell Ganso and Balotelli are wearing Rossoneri jerseys under their Santos and Man City tops, its just a matter of time before they take off those false jerseys once and for all.
Montolivo should arrive. I'm not saying he WILL. I'm just saying he should. He'll play and he'll be useful. Plus he'll increase his credibility if he can be a key player in one of the most successful teams of all time.
I find Aquilani to be unnecessary but his arrival would mean the exit of another player considering Galliani's 'one in-one out' policy.
Then there's the "dream" signings like Fabregas and Schweinsteiger and Kaka and Hamsik and THE LIST GOES ON.
Montolivo and Ganso are my preferences and I would not oppose to Aquilani's arrival as he is majestic on his day and has been showing good signs of improvement in the past 12 months. Mr.X...the "Champion"...the "dream" signing....call him what you want but after we attempt the more possible signs of Monty and Aqui, then I feel we should go all out for this man of mystery. I would LIKE Kaka to come back but Fabregas and Schweinsteiger (although unlikely...thats why they're Mr.X!) would be better, more useful purchases.
I reckon Allegri would want Schweinsteiger,
Berlusconi wants Kaka,
Raoila wants Hamsik
And Galliani wants none....unless he can get them on a loan and then pay them off over the next 3 years

I trust Galliani, but for some reason I don't see a major player arriving, I just feel like we will get monty/aquilani and no one else, hopefully i'm proven wrong

Re: Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
Balotelli would be great however Galliani has dismissed him as an option, so I think we might be able to take him off the shopping list. Montolivo looks likely and will be able to fit in quite well with the midfield. Bastian and Fabregas look unlikely. I personally think that Poli would be a brilliant addition adding drive and creativity to mid-field.

Welcome to the Milan forums...
The Greatest Forum of them all.
We'll sign Balotelli eventually, thats a given
But Poli isn't the kind of player who can just walk into the starting XI

Re: Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
One thing should probably be pointed out in regards to Poli, especially given that he is often called the heir to Andrea Pirlo nowadays.
This is how I believe this expectation came about.
Andrea Pirlo. Andrea Poli.
Reaction of a commentator: "Holy #$@! they're practically the same person."
Poli brings movement and energy into the midfield in the much the same way that De Rossi does when he bursts forward to the edge of the box or engages in rapid-fire moves, however his long passing is far less developed than De Rossi, who regularly sprays the ball around the pitch for Roma, and Poli still needs to learn how to slide tackle - yes I'm obsessed with midfielders being able to slide tackle, however with good reason - and shoot to become complete, however he can still slot into our midfield as a substitute and potentially as a starter by the end of the season.
Anyway, the inexpensive option is rather incredible as Iras has stated, however I don't believe that Balotelli should arrive until there is definite room, though sending Paloschi back to Genoa or to a team such as Cagliari is an option. I trust Kaka, there is no question about that, I simply don't trust his body.
Poli and Montolivo to finish off our transfer market - Ganso is a deal for January in my eyes - would please me no end. Poli and Schweinsteiger is a dream and the inexpensive in my eyes is the arrival of one of Aquilani and Montolivo and no one else.

Re: Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
Well, in addition to those four packages, I guess we got another: The cheap-ass package!!!
This one contains Amauri (5m), Aquilani (6m), Kaka (free loan).
BMF mentioned a funny thing about Milan men's favorite options, which I disagree with in parts.
I think Galliani wants one of Schweini or Fabregas, Braida is in love with Ganso and Lucas, Berlusconi would do anything possible to have Ricky22 back, Raiola is keen to make Balotelli happier than he already is and Allegri's favorite is none other than Hamsik, though he's ready to compromise for Montolivo or even Poli.
We, the dear, ever hungry, greedy fans, obviously want the best of the best to be brought to Milanello, which means the most expensive ones available.
I wished we could also throw Bonera out and sign some quality multi-position defender, someone like Abidal.

Re: Look Forward To Fascinating Four Weeks Ahead...
If Ganso and Montolivo arrive, I'll be the happiest man in the world. These two are the realistic options and getting them will make us full on Champions League winning candidates. Schweinstniger and Fabregas is a distant dream, but hey stranger things have happened. If we get them then I'll fly to Milan and kiss Galliani's bald head.
And I am also intrigued about Poli too, we used to be heavily linked with him before and after Sampdoria got relegated I thought we would show some serious interest in him or Palombo. Palombo has said that he will stay with Sampdoria no matter what but what about Poli? Will he play in Serie B? I haen't seen him linked with any clubs recently.
Balotelli, I have a feeling will come next summer or in January, not now. It is clear he bleeds red and black and wants to play for us desperately and I beleive soon he will play for us but not now. We have to see at least one more year of chicken hats, dart throwing and parking tickets .
Now about Kaka, he is one of my favourite players of all time and that is part of the reason I don't want him back. I don't want him to leave Madrid as a flop. Being a 65 million euro flop will dog him for the rest of his career, I want him to succeed at Real and cement his status as one of the game's greatest ever. Go and rape those frakking divers Ricky!

I'm holding you to that :p. Seriously though, I agree with the rest of your post. On kaka, I know I'll get flamed for this, but I honestly don't think he can. With Madrid's star-filled squad, he's having enough trouble just making the lineup. I want him to provevhis doubters wrong, but I'm sorry, I just don't think he can. For his sake, he should leave.
