Italy is not the same team that the one in the World Cup. Stop using the World Cup excuse for Italy's form. There is no Cannavaro, no Marchetti, no Gattuso, no Iaquinta, no Lippi and not many other players who were also called into that squad. Prandelli's team is completely different from Lippi's.

9 - reputation
9 - produced legend players
6 - current form
their current form is pretty crap, considering they just bowed out of the recent WC in the group stages.
You are talking about CURRENT form, the World Cup happened a year ago. Italy are undefeated in Euro qualifying.

Just a thought, but I think Saudi Arabia should be ranked higher on your list... I see them better than Scotland and Costa Rica, and definitely much better than Haiti and Lithuania. They're the joint second most successful team in the Asian Cup, winning it 3 times. And they've been runners-up 3 times as well, which says a lot about how good they are. They're just suffering from a slump the past couple of years, but they'll get through it.
