In This Thread, i will try to update news about barca "B" including Official & Transfer Rumours etc..

`Official Transfers:

- Nolito to Benfica ( free-transfer)
- Vazquez to Brugge

Also, Official: Abraham(24,LB), Edu Oriol(24,Winger) and "Benja"min Martinez (23,Forward )will not be part of Barcelona B Squad for next season as announced by the Club

- Fomer Barcelona player Eusebio (47) could today be presented as new coach to the Barcelona B squad after their last training session. [md]

Sergi Gomez(RCB,19), Oriol Rossel(Defender, 18), Balliu (RB, 19), Espinosa(19, Midfielder), Rafinha(18, Midfielder can play as false 9), Gerard Deulofeu (17, Winger)

& Dalmau(RB, 19), Edu Campabadal (CB, 18) , Etock (CF,18) also has a chance to be promoted from U-19 to Barca "B"!!!

So we could see something like this ?

No news about him.. IMO he should be promoted.. but he could Join a team on loan, maybe Roma ( Luis Enrique wants him with other Barca B players @ Roma)..

Has anyone noted the remarks about Thiago lately? Milla was saying that he has to be modest to succeed. I would've not been too surprised by this as it does seem to be routine enough. But then, here Montoya is saying that Thiago may seem cocky.

While he does clear things up, I have a feeling Thiago won't live up t the attitude benchmarks set by Xavi and Iniesta.

I dont get it, why is Thiago considered cocky? Because he does tricks? LOL

I think those are people talking about his personality rather than his game, or at least that's how I perceived it.

But other then those close to him (like teammates, who say he isnt cocky) how would anyone know or even guess that?

Why would Montoya even say "Thiago can seem cocky"....im thinking like, seem cocky to who?

But I was under the impression that those making those claims actually know him?

I think Montoya was saying that in reaction to Thiago's recent comments which were taken out of context about the English squad. He said he didn't know many of them that well since Wilshere was not playing. The press tried to make it into a Mario Balotelli kind of thing when he said 'Who's Jack Wilshere?'

There was nothing wrong with what either Balo or he said.

But yeah, that sounds probably right.

If we bought Araujo, which would be an amazing purchase, he'd play CF I'm pretty sure.

I thought negotiations stalled with Boca?

Juvenil A player Gerard Deulofeu (17, Winger) will next season stay registered as Juvenil player but play more with the "Barcelona B" team. [sport]

Gd decision imo.. in this way he can play Champions League U-19 in August.. + he is still 17, we should give him time to develop the maximum before making the first team, we don't want him to become Bojan 2.0!!

I think Christian Ceballos is the only forward who has to leave Juvenil A level next year. You seen any of him Khaled?

I think these players have to move from Juvenil A- either to Barca B or away from the club- because they'll be too old for Juvenil football:
Carlos (GK), Albert Dalmau, Ivan Balliu, Oriol Rosell, Jose Palau, Javi Espinosa, Luis Gustavo, Jordi Maso.

Kizz.. Ceballos already left Barca in January.. he was free-agent, he was injured for long time & didn't develop physically like he should ( this is what i know about him).. he had try-outs with Chelsea & Tottenham ( i'm not sure which team he joined)!

Oriol Rosell will sure be promoted.. sport.es said that he renewed his contract & will be promoted to Barca "B"..

-Tello also renewed his contract, so he will stay, last match against rayo "away" scored 2 nice goals.. hope he keeps improving..

Espinosa ? he is true talent.. he made his debut for Barca "B" & he MUSt stay,i think he will..

Dalmau & Balliu?
( Montoya said that he wil probably stay with Barca B & his goal is to play some matche for first team next season..)
& Both Dalmau & Balliu are 19 years old now.. one of them could leave? unless Barca decide to promote MOntoya to first team.. so both Dalmau & Balliu can rotate Right back( Barca B).. Luis Enrique gave Balliu the chance last season (2010-2011) he played in the last 4 or 5 matches ( i couldn't watch these games) so don't know if Balliu is gd enough!

let's wait & see.. but we need to buy @ least 2 forwards? & maybe a defender (Left Back) since vazquez,edu oriol, abraham,nolito & soriano all left or will leave soon the B Team..

What i'm sure about is:

Rafinha, Espinosa, Sergi Gomez, ( Dalmau or Balliu) should be promoted.. & Gerard Deulofeu should have some playing time..

Sport.es reports:

Sergi Gomez, Oriol Rosell, Javier Espinosa, Rafa Alcantara and Gerard Deulofeu are the Juvenil A players promoted to Barca B.

Ivan Balliu (RB) and Gustavo Ledesma (DM) are likely to start the preseason with Barca B and will try to convince coach Eusebio.

Pepe Palau(CM), Albert Dalmau(RB) and Jordi Maso (CM) will not continue at Juvenil A and are also likely to be released by Barca

Barca Juvenil A goal keepers Jesus Unzue and Carlos Carlos Castarnado will leave the club this summer. (sport)

'Sport' reports Barca have reached an agreement with Hercules on transfer of Kiko Femenia (20) for 2M euro plus 1.5M variables.Kiko will initially be part of Barca B in his first season but is likely to rotate between the first and B team. Kiko, a Spain U20 international, can play either RW/CM/RB. He is likely to be in Spain's squad for the U20 World Cup.

UPDATE:


Agent of Juvenil A right back Albert Dalmau has denied the player will be released by the club, as was reported earlier by Sport. Pep Setvalls, the agent of Albert Dalmau, also claims the player still has an years contract and will be part of Barca B next season!!

Juvenil A coach Oscar Garcia confirmed to EMD that Albert Dalmau will continue at the club and that he will be promoted to Barca B.
