OT: France found their AM

Marvin Martin destroyed League 1 with 17 assists... playing for Sochaux. Just double that number if he played with a half decent club. His nickname in France "little Iniesta".

First game with France against Ukraine. France is tied 1-1 with 20 mins to go and Malouda, Ribery, Benzema, Diaby and Martin come in.

Martin scores after erasing player ala Iniesta and burying the shot in the bottom left corner from way outside the box.
Martin takes a corner and assists on Kaboul's header.
Martin take a pass from Benzema and buries it in the top corner of the net on a 1-on-1.

All this happened in the last 8 mins... but creating heavy pressure with the subs coming in. Benzema dancing tonight too.

Gameiro scored as well.

If Martin can come in and show this skill and comfort with the top guns as the AM for France, watch out. That was our glaring weakness. We may just have resolved it.

Martin is a pretty cool player. Hopefully he develops, i dont think he can carry that team just yet, but it's worth a shot.

Benz, Martin, Nasri and Ribery to lead France. Would love to see that.

His first goal should have been saved by the keeper though and his second goal was from a big mistake from the defender. On another night Ukraine could easily have stopped both his goals but the way he owned that player before his first goal was awesome lol.

He doesn't need to carry anything. Just needs to provide the link. Diaby looks like he's getting back too.

With M'Vila as the DM, Diaby as the B2B and Martin as the AM... you just want to get the ball to the forwards. Ribery, Malouda, Benzema, Gameiro and Menez are plenty talented.

HMMMM.... Still a bit skeptical , but he would definitley be an improvement over gorcuff. Seems a good direct plaayer. They should play a diamond.

I bet you nasri could've filled that hole if it wasn't for mr. wenger. All he did is play him on the wing, and he doesn't have the vision he used to have. not even the silky skills I used to love him for..

No way. Martin has 19 assists in league 1 in france with Sochaux... that's right SOCHAUX! If he was on a real team and didn't have to deal with getting targeted by at least two opponent players, he may have had 25-30.

He just doesn't mess around and has great vision. Never scores with Sochaux because he needs to get it forward... there's nobody in their midfield that could give him any service lol.

Anyone got a highligt vid yet? Would love to see this new kid, haven't heard much about him, and from reading through some of the comments above, i can sense that he is a great upcoming star

They are going to have to develop a lot next season, they might be too green for the Euros, then again, who could have predicted the german revolution.

Netherlands will be beasting at euros.I'm really skeptical on italy , because ironically their defense is shaky (for once). Also, I like belgium to be the darkhorse.
