Ciri may be expected to have some power that Geralt didn't since she has elder blood that's no brainer but im sure the creators balanced her enough to not be OP, im sure they did because otherwise there'd be no point

A create your own Witcher game would be soulless imho, I think ciri will be great since she is in her 30s now and not a young doe anymore.

I dont like these type of games where its a random generator and there is no backbone and story you can get behind.

It's completely fine to have a particular and personal style but it comes of as silly degrading clearly some of the best games ever just because you want to go against the flow and be edgy

i never understood why ppl want to create a character. i never cared to imagine the character as my own maybe bc i see it as escapism to do so and know its a video game as i do. create your own is voiceless, preset faces and just without mirth. i rather play as the character made for the game as of course i'd prefer gerald but interested to see where they take Ciri.

@myestats. witcher games are simply a threat to the outdated clunky Bethesda games whom have a great score but that doesn't make up for their complete lack of atmosphere.

completely agree. I get quickly bored by games like these where I feel no attachment to the protagonist, it's one of the reasons why I dont like Skyrim that much even tho its a great game.

I made the mistake of going to X to read reactions, and yet im surprised but not really surprised at how many incels comment on Ciri's appearance. A female protagonist is here and we already know who's who and what's what.

She's in her 30s now and clearly went through the grass trials I dont know why people expect her to be a model as a poor wandering mercenary Laughing

besides she looks fine to me

She looks absolutely fine, exactly as I have imagined an ageing Ciri, and that's why I'm perplexed that so many have an issue with it.

I haven't read the books but another gripe some have is that she couldn't have went through the trials but maybe the elder blood has something to it? anyone can shed a light?

Yes but some people are saying she couldn't go through the trial because according to the lore only males can withstand it and only 20% of them or something. Thats the part that they may have taken some liberty with to tell this new trilogy but I haven't read the books so im clueless re this. Thats why im wondering if the elder blood helps her get past the trials

the GD confirms there's gonna be a way to save the girl from the trailer

Also the village it's happening at is in far north.

Will be nteresting to see more snowy terrain in Witcher and maybe Cintra since that's where Ciri is from

personally hoping for a small return to what's my favourite in Toissant. cintra has to no doubt be featured in it along with with nilfgaard.

The game will take somewhere up north but Touissant is south as far as I remember. I also figured that one of the endings of Ciri becoming a witcher is now a canon then. I thought her being the empress was the best choice geopolitcally. Still a bit skeptical about Witcher 4 though

blood remains the same may mean the elder blood still sleeps within her? I assume she tried to get rid of it by doing the trial of grasses

This bodes well for W4 as this quest is remarkable and probably one of the best in the entire game.
