Re: Champions League '24/25
Lovely goals by Vini and Bellingham. I was away during the first half but saw Kylian being subbed out by Rodrygo. Was it something serious or precaution?`

Precaution. Whether or not it’s serious, we’ll probably find out later. It seemed like minor discomfort, but you never know.

Re: Champions League '24/25
An awesome spectacle.
Not enough structure with how much Vini is indulged in defense and offense, but boy was he brilliant today with his finish, assist, and some of his link up play, and he's not even 100% fit. He literally made an Alonsoesque pass from behind the center line.
Benzema would be proud.
We ended with that asymmetric 442ish thing that's going to needlessly kill Bellingham physically. Not convinced this sort of structure + set up combo would be enough either throughout the season or in latter CL stages.
In bigger games may need to roll with Fede and Mendy as full backs, we will benefit a lot with Camavinga's return as an inverted CDM.
Lovely game.

Real lucky to win that... but thats the difference having stars who are just clinical n finish chances vs Atalanta's try hards
So pretty much the big teams got their points n going through as expected?

I think the first touch was more impressive than the finish for Mbappe’s goal. Vinicius’ goal was also not the result of a great finish

What a counter by Juve to make it 2-0 to City. McKlownie volleyed a failed shot followed by cross to him by Thuram:

Re: Champions League '24/25
Ferran with 2 goals, a tap in again n a decent finish after a terrible first touch... while doing shit in everything else in the game as usual... read Barca forum he has as many goals as David Villa or something in the CL, LOL football is weird sometimes... what a fraud XD
Seriously though, what an open game, a decent Dortmund who just lack the 9 again... we are outscoring opponents while praying our offside works as usual... giving me heart attacks every game when always goals can canceled but keeps me worrying when they might not XD

Ferran is scoring goals and is helping his team win and you're calling him a fraud? Typical farsa fan behavior. You'd never see this from a Madrid manBarcaLearning wrote:Ferran with 2 goals, a tap in again n a decent finish after a terrible first touch... while doing shit in everything else in the game as usual... read Barca forum he has as many goals as David Villa or something in the CL, LOL football is weird sometimes... what a fraud XD

Re: Champions League '24/25
definitely doing more than FDJ who BarcaLearning accused me of scapegoating.
FDJ brings very little to the table these days and Ferran at least scores even if other aspects of his game are amateurish
Even Fermin does more than FDJ, it's absolutely unforgivable how poor FDJ is compared to his perceived quality

FDJ is one of the most overrated midfielders of the decade. one of those ppl love to hype for his "intangibles" similar to Oscar of Chelsea back then but does not do half as much as he is hyped to do and commands an absurd amount of money

Re: Champions League '24/25
No and no and no lol... come on ppl... again I say just cos Pedri, Casado etc n the team in general has improve n hes not looked his back after coming back... hes not all of a sudden become bad... he was our best player for a while not that long ago... ppl either dont watch Barca consistently or have recency bias, thats been proven... similar to those who critised Lewand n Raphinha, etc... im repeating myself so oh well... lol
N ppl actually think Ferran offers something XD

Re: Champions League '24/25
Nah im the #1 Ferran hater but it was not the place to say hes a fraud after he won us the game meanwhile FDJ is sleepwalking every game whom you defended last week. That is the exact point - FDJ has 5x more raw quality than Ferran but provides less.
That said, yes ferran is still not barca level of course

Crazy that he's been there for 6 years. Very few individual moments of him stand out in my mind, especially in Europe.

Re: Champions League '24/25
What the hell has ferran done to receive such disrespect from his own club supporters? Didn't Xavi love this guy? Y'all need to support your own better.
Frankie de jong on the other hand I got little to say. Only because I'm not sure what it is he is supposed to do for his team. What is his role under ideal circumstances?
Guy seems interchangeable despite commanding a very high salary iirc. Lacks personality on the pitch if that even makes sense.

Xavi's fondness for mid players is what got him sacked
Ferran is probably really good in training which is why coaches fall for him but he's a beta who doesnt translate that into actual games.

Re: Champions League '24/25
well if you say so. I don't see too many farsa games so I cant give an objective Opinion but I still maintain that as a fan of a club that you should support your players. He may be a clown for all I know but on this match he was a key man who seized the opportunity to bring victory to his club.Myesyats wrote:Turok_TTZ wrote:What the hell has ferran done to receive such disrespect from his own club supporters? I agree on Xavi.
He tried too hard to push for his countrymen that it costed him the job in the end.
Edit: somehow my inner thoughts leaked out a bit there. Nothing to see here.

Re: Champions League '24/25
He’s one of the two Bozos that say I’m the reason for the decline of goal legacy!
Both were prominent in the real madrid only forum with this guy a moderator!
One is a very young kid with psychological issues and the other is a Mexican who doesn’t speak spanish, lol.
Obviously both are very opinionated and as I said (which started their rants against me) are overly zealous madridistas.
Best just to ignore them. They both come and post a lot of shit and then disappear for several months.
