He not only against Pep, he’s just an overly zealous RMad supporter. We have a few of them, Turok, DoC and MTO. Not much difference from them to you and the naive one!

Thimmy wrote:Seems like most clubs are effective against City, these days. I'm not completely on board with the "Rodri being out is the reason"- claim.
I think a lot of people tend to jump to conclusions like that for the sake of simplicity, rather than it actually explaining or justifying something that I believe is more complex. Kroos gets the same treatment at Real Madrid, now that he's out of the equation and we're struggling.
Several of their players look low on morale or are showing signs of age decline, and I don't know if that's related to Rodri's absence, but it would've undoubtedly been an Achilles Heel for them, regardless of whether or not he'd been present in the team.
They're not the only team that's been struggling with multiple injuries this season, but most teams don't have a tendency to boil their issues down to a single player, like people much more frequently do with RM and Man City. Some Arsenal fans might do so as well, but the world is always against them, right?
More Issues have piled up over time for sure but I still think the overarching issue at RM is a lack of controller who can play out from the back. Kroos or at least someone of his profile. Sometimes the right answer is the most simple one
For Barca it’s Yamal from the little sample size that we just had

Well I’d say you were quite overzealous when you predicted Barca were in the same competition bracket as Bilbao baggins

Come on, even you are surprised at how good Barca (and Yamal) have been this season. And Athletic have been a solid 4th and sitting at top of classification in EL. That’s not mid table as you were saying.

Hadnt keep tabs on how many games De Bruyne played during the Man C slump but this first few minutes shows just how important he is... Man C are back? ![Very Happy](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png)

I am surprised we are scoring so many, but I'm not surprised we're #1
What I predicted was a 6-8 finish for Bilbao because they're gonna have to stretch their resources between Liga and EL
You doubted Barca would win a battle between them, Atleti and Bilbao which means a 4th spot finish for Barca was within your prediction?

Re: Premier League 2024/25
For a manager who had a grand total of 3 games under his belt with a new system with some important missing and with self sabotaging idiots like Rashford and Garnacho as designated attackers against one of the title challengers, we handled le Arse pretty decently I felt. For the 1st time we went into a big away any match didnt play like an underdog. Had possession and decent control for a change. Cant remember the last time we could say that.
Just that there's not much we can do in this short space of time when Arsenal can have an entirely different weapon when things dont go as planned. i.e, become Stokesenal and snatch a victory. May be I am bitter loser when I say this, but yea they are nowhere near Liverpool judging by the way they play and can max hope for 2nd place (possibly 3rd behind Chelsea who play much better football than this Set piece fc). Anyway very very satisfied with Amorim in all honesty and his tactics until now.

If Amorim can not make Man United a serious contendor, then I have lost all my hope with this club. The standards are quite literally on floor.

Of course Arsenal aren't anywhere near LFC it's not even close.
Amorim is a good coach. Portuguese coaches like Italians are very tactically drilled and disciplined. Miles better than ten Hag who never was special.

Re: Premier League 2024/25
Bias aside, I think have to give credit to Arsenal for finding a very effective and unique hack to score goals. And despite the questionable melee tactic in the box against the keeper, real props should be given to your set piece deliveries. Rice and Saka were exceptional in that regard.El Gunner wrote:lol
Anyway I genuinely believe teams will figure it out sooner rather than later how to deal with this. I myself was shouting at the screen to form a wall when Arsenal players were swarming from backpost like that and stop them. I mean there should be enough counters such as that which more wily teams with strong physical players will use against you. Not teams like ours with dumb idiots like Rashford who gifted a corner doing a keepy up even after seeing how dangerous you were with them lol.
Anyway, for me honestly the gamechanger was that Malacia yellow card in the 1st half. Amorim was shit scared with him then going against Saka in the 2nd half and took him off and switched Dalot left where he is dogshit everytime. Curious to know what would have happened in the 2nd half in an alternate reality had that not happened.

Man U loses to Notts, contrast that with Man C beating them 3-0? The suffering continues ![Very Happy](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png)

Chelsea definitely doing better than everyone expected? Spurs on the other hand is so inconsistent, beat some big teams but prone to drop points vs the weaker ones...

Arsenal are a dumptruck "contender" who tf will ever take them seriously.
Since City are pretty much out of contention unless Slot's LFC self sabotage this title is ours.
sweet times.

Hope we will lose more games owing to individual mistakes and players not being arsed from now and until the end of the season. Much better than those frauds showing fake form and persuading Amorim to keep them beyond the coming summer window.

Then imagine that the sick and petty person is also allegedly a retired and elderly citizen who unfortunately has also shown a consistent lack of upper level substance and reasoning with their opinions and thoughts about Football in general for years. Goes against the presumed maturity and wisdom that the (alleged) elderly should have.

Lol, now you’re making up posts for me!
Perhaps my wording of zealous was misinterpreted by you and the two Barca fanatics. I meant that the lot of you support your club as superior to all and you diminish their opponents.
I wasn’t meaning anything foul at all.
As to your comments about me, I have no problem with Sports nor Nick nor DoC. We disagree occasionally, but we treat each other in adult fashion. As to the remaining two, I don’t try to pretend I’m any fútbol expert as you two consistently do.

There there "bill", don't feel like you have to convince anyone.
Toxicity and lack of substance are two of the things that led this forum to its inevitable death, thus people like you who embody that obviously accelerated it, along with the forum's inherent nature of being a remnant of a shut down community, its lack of association with a bigger platform and/or source, the passage of time, personal life factors of members, the rise of other forum platforms, etc.
You should feel proud that you made a tangible contribution.

Enjoy the time you have here before the passage of time/"error 404 not found" inevitably pulls the curtain.
