Re: Premier League 2023/24
What a mess of a game 0-0 somehow still...
N I say again, how is it that Konate has been warming the bench so often for yrs? This guy is physically so amazing, n without Upamecano's brainfarts too? Extremely underrated?

to be honest, that was almost a C team. Klopp has some balls to make those substitutions and going for the game in a very calculated manner.

Meh every fanbase is like that, there's always a healthy % of deluded fans. AFTV was famous for that, guys like Ty and the like....
predicting Utd to finish top 2 in their shape is beyond ridiculous tho, true that

Anyone know whats the story? Cant help but feel these penalties even if enforced, usually end up to not much for the bigger clubs, n that Everton prolly just paid them ppl at the appeals court or whatever?

BarcaLearning wrote:How is it that Glazer family still owns over 50% of Man U n Ratcliffe just 25% yet the latter now controls the football? Can someone pls explain?
25% still amounts to well over 1 billion, which they are putting into the club to actually improve it I think. Its like the Glazers are more than happy for INEOS to take centerstage so that they can lay low and still pocket the lion's share and also ward off all the negative publicity they were getting. So basically 2 birds one stone kind of stuff. However there are reports that cos Ratcliffe will fully take over the club eventually, he is enjoying a lot more control than he should be which tho I believe is pure bs.

5 really easy goals for Haaland against Luton Town. How did this team manage to get promoted to the Premier League?

Luton have been by far the most impressive of the 3 teams that were promoted

Re: Premier League 2023/24
I haven't watched them much. I see that they have Ross Barkley and Man United academy product, Chong. But they've been largely poor in this match. Their only highlights have come from Barkley and Chong, as far as I can tell. I missed their first goal, but the second one was a string of hopeless mistakes by Man City players. I still can't tell what Nunez offers to this team.

Luton are actually creating some chances now. Maybe I was too quick to judge them. Took them far too long to up their intensity, though.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Feels like yesterday that Callum Hudson Odoi was sought after by Bayern Munich and other clubs of notable renown, and now he’s plying his trade for Nottingham Forest. Gio Reyna is on their bench as well. Anyone who’s followed Dortmund for a while should know how good Reyna can be when he’s not injured. Seems strange to see them both play for such a humble club.

Why, because Arsenal are completely incapable of such feats? It's a trait of champions.
For Arsenal a 5-0 is more likely than a last minute winner.

They are still riding the Gakpo Gravenberch win, let alone us winning games and trophies with 8+ starters out. Let him stay delusional
