Why, because Arsenal are completely incapable of such feats? It's a trait of champions.
For Arsenal a 5-0 is more likely than a last minute winner.
They are still riding the Gakpo Gravenberch win, let alone us winning games and trophies with 8+ starters out. Let him stay delusional

Yeah Nunez turning out to be a big game player.
Yea by possession mysteriously turning over to Liverpool from Hudson Odoi's after the ref stopping the play for Konate's head injury. Its like they arent even trying to hide it anymore. Desperate for that farewell league win for Kloppito eh.

look all these perspectives depend on which set of fans you speak to. If you ask Derby County fans, on their forum they are full of facts that everything was fair & simple. You know what I mean.
The funny fact is - Tierny had given ball to Forest when exactly same thing had happened from Liverpool's end, during the first half. So at least he showed consistency in terms of interpreting rules about the dead ball which is given to either attacking or defending time based on some rules.

City v United today.
Barely even feels like a big game.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I logged into my bookie today.
1.30 — 10
Nearly the same as Man City vs Luton in the last fixture, which was 1.30 — 10.75
Absolute shambles.

Fooking Johny Evans starting for a team in 2024, what can you expect from such a team.

Rashford just earned himself an extension, wage increase, symbolic second promotion to the first team

If I downed a shot every time Foden opts to shoot instead of passing, I’d be an alcoholic.

Huge miss by Haaland. Could’ve gone into half time with 1-1

And there’s the 1-1. I suppose thisis why Foden has turned into a long-shot merchant

Utd could have been more aggressive and brave during the second half. From the first half it was clear that this is not sustainable. Chelsea played far better than Utd couple of weeks ago.

I watched the whole thing, United are cowards and wimps. Those tactics are indeed embarrassing and spineless. This has turned from Manchester derby to Manchester pounding.
Can't blame Foden for shooting since he has impeccable finishing. I bet he actually has a pretty good conversion rate.If I downed a shot every time Foden opts to shoot instead of passing, I’d be an alcoholic.

I don’t neccessarily agree that he has impeccable finishing. He’s turned into a shoot first, ask questions later type of player as of late. When he’s as clutch as he was today, that’s exactly what you want - a game decider.
I personally prefer the way they’ve been playing when he hasn’t been in the starting XI, as lately he’s had a tendency to become the only offensive threat in this setup, but again, when he’s clutch, he’s clutch. They looked much more like a team against Luton when he wasn’t playing, but that was obviously a weaker team that went into the game with suicide tactics.
Foden’s greatest strength is close control and driving the ball forward. I imagine his conversion rate actually isn’t that great considering how frequently he’s been taking shots from pretty much any angle and distance this season.
We can all be armchair managers and talk about tactics, but without those long-range finishers today, this would’ve been a pretty damn boring game with little threat posed from either side.

I quickly compared him with Haaland and Alvarez. He has a 20% conversion rate compared to 23.94% for Haaland and 14.29% for Alvarez.
That places him closer to Haaland than Alvarez. That seems pretty good.
He is not Saka or Salah who edge closer towards 30%, but he's not Darwin either who boasts a healthy 13.8% conversion rate.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
That can’t be including all of his shot attempts. Over half of them seem to hit opposing players. De Bruyne seems to have a very good idea of when to shoot and when there are better options, but this version of Foden who’s been described as being in the form of his career has a very «spray and pray» pattern of shooting.
It’s great when it works, I think he ends up becoming a tactical weakness when it doesn’t work as well as it did today. In his defense, he does know how to shoot well. I just don’t think it’s a sustainably reliable approach to the game unless you’re a KDB- level player, which I don’t think he is..

Re: Premier League 2023/24
okay. I am ETH out. Disgusting manager. Disgusting tactics. Atleast Ole and even Mourinho had a decent working counter attacking plan even if they had like 30% possession in games. This guy on the other hand. Its like his tactics is to be perennially stuck in some sort of limbo state, not having a clue, whether to attack of defend at a given time. just like his players are. And the way he justifies having 2 shots all game against your bitter rivals. Whatever the circumstance, injuries or not, heck even Shefield and Luton with combined player wages less than Rashford's show more ambition against City. Its pathetic. So yea just bide the time and get him out next season along with Rashy and capitano Bruno and Antony. sick of those fks and start again. He may go on to do well for another club, dont care about that really. At United it simply hasnt worked out. Its time to accept.

It’s actually fun to hear the complains here and in Serie A. Oh how the mighty have fallen. There are Chelsea and ManU, in EPL, Juve and Milan in Serie A. And we have Barca in la liga and it looks like maybe soon Bayern!

What a performance by Man C 2 goals from Foden has to be contenders for goal of the season, so crucial too
