I dont think we have ever discussed it on here and with the push to change EU treaties I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Who benefits, is it necessary and would smaller states be reduced to German/French provinces or bundesländers? With these recent waves of rather radical proposals, even many pro-EU politicians in Poland are becoming increasingly skeptical about the future of the union.
