He is at United for a last paycheck. He's won it all. He has no motivation to improve himself. Have you seen his fitness? Guy is living the dream.

Honestly we were quite bad but United had like 2 decent attacks in 90 mins. They were even worse.
For some reason Arsenal play like every match is a title decider. There is huge amount of pressure in each match which they can't handle. It's weird.
Doesn't help Arteta is building something stupid.

Must say Odegaard is absolutely sensational. Unbelievable player.

I thought he was like the best player in the observable universe or something

Casemiro is United's best player by far.
The rest would have problems being subs in a United 10 years ago.
Darren Fletcher >>>>
It really is quite incredible how they managed to spend so much and end up with practically nothing.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
I mean we were missing like 5 starters today
Varane out
Shaw out
Mount out
Hojlund not fit, had a cameo
Martinez went off injured
mostly mad at the way the loss went because I knew it was coming after the goal was ruled out, unacceptable
Casemiro started last season badly too before exploding, will be similar this season IMO and he's still been decent, he's just expected to do it all atm

Arteta has achieved absolutely nothing for him to have so much pride regarding this Havertz situation... slick haired *bleep* should swallow his pride and do the right thing after the international break...
hopefully this is the team that starts first game back:
Martinelli -- Jesus -- Saka
Vieira ----- Odegaard
Rice
Zinchenko - Gabriel - Saliba - White
Vieira ----- Odegaard
Rice
Zinchenko - Gabriel - Saliba - White
Vieira deserves that start after his cameos and assists in the Fulham and United game. Trossard should be first option off the bench for him. Trossard is 10x the player Havertz is, but for some reason Arteta treats him like a street dog while Havertz for some reason that only that slick-haired *bleep* knows gets princess treatment. Season has barely started and Arteta has me sick to my stomach.

I love our start but it stinks of it being an end of a saga with some glimpses of the old but refusing to let go. The transition is messy but understandably difficult though todays win was very satisfying to see for LFC.

Re: Premier League 2023/24
Sancho has a history of being unprofessional af
Jadon Sancho IN MY OPINION is an emotionally dangerous human being for attempting to gaslight this fan base and tear it apart. Erik Ten Hag gave him 3 months off to play call-of-duty in the mountains while being paid 350k a week and we’re supposed to believe he’s a scapegoat?..… pic.twitter.com/F1geK1VU7l

He was a problem tactically. I don't think anyone ever suggested that he was the only problem at Man United

Feel like it was a sideways step in terms of ur midfield tbh, yeah yours was old and finished but these new guys are meh af too.. a 30 yr old from relegation candidates in Germany..
Lol I missed this. Every mate who are ManUtd fans are so jealous that we got McAlister and why ManUtd did not sign him. He has been great, given that he is still new at Anfield and playing under Klopp.
Szoboszlai also has been praised by almost everyone, I think even here on GL. What a signing he has been, early days, but I expect him to be another superstar of our midfield or even EPL. You were struggling to play football against 10 men team where as we very comfortably won with 10 men, credit to Maca and Szoboszlai. Szobo looks like a complete all action midifield player - who can make a decisive pass or creative ones, can progress with the ball, can tackle & run like a machine all day, he scored a beauty against Villa and it was his shot that sealed the game against Bournemouth when we were 10 men down.
My only criticism is that we should have signed one of these two in Jan or last summer. As usual, we sign necessary player 1 or 2 windows late, otherwise last season could have looked much better.

Yeah Szoboszlai is easily better than any Man Utd midfielder, Florence is just envious because they signed a useless and overrated Brexit bum who shares a first name with Greenwood

AHAHAHAHHAAH Man U r DONE. Bye bye, maybe Ten Hag as well?
Love it~
Doku looks like a proper winger for Man C
But I thought he would play RW, wonder who will be first choice him or Grealish. Its definitely refreshing to see him over Grealish who just back pass n stall too much
Complete opposite players. Bernardo Silva is amazing, still plays that RW/RM to perfection
Man C are light yrs ahead n forever will spank Man U, will keep enjoying this

Doku didn't look very good in his debut match. Looks like he was much more comfortable in this one. He made things look very easy for his goal. I think the result flatters Man City, they weren't that good, but their ability to churn out wins when they aren't playing all that well is part of their strength.

Granted I only watched highlights but it seemed to me like Haaland missed several easy chances he would've otherwise converted and I thought the score could've been even higher

I wouldn’t describe them as easy, but yeah, he was pretty wasteful. I think they were lucky not to concede more as well. Both goalkeepers were spectacular.
