Imagine being obsessed with one thing your entire life (football) and suddenly that thing is not working for you any more. Without doubt you will suffer from depression until you come to terms with the fact the the only thing you had in life is gone.

I feel like he's trying to accept the fact that his career as a football player is ending and now trying to refocus his obsession on trying to be a bigger businessman than he already is. That is what people with obsessive personalities do, they shift their obsession from one subject to another but the obsession itself never goes away.

I’m all for roasting Ronaldo on his personality and poor attitude recently but man, posts like these just make me think people cannot use critical thinking and separate their hate for a player and also realize that player is probably only second to Messi in terms of greatness. Players like Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Zidane, Brazilian Ronaldo, Platini all were more impressive in their skillset. Cristiano Ronaldo only has longevity and goalscoring prowess over them, which should be praised. But it's not that clear that Ronaldo is second to Messi.

And then you have Tier 2 players like Thierry Henry, Luis Suarez, Del Piero, Iniesta which skillsets i personally find much more appealing than Ronaldo's style of play.
