I see Felix finishing is still exactly how I left him with at Atleti.

That Sterling run in the first minute is the exact reason why he has no business starting big CL games. He literally had a 1v1 and hesitated like a pussy and turned backward.

Well he had an absolute disasterclass in the first half but got a lucky bounce with the goal.
Cucurella my MOTM so far. He’s been immense as a LCB.

I'm confused as to why Havertz was permitted to take the penalty a second time. The Norwegian commentator said something along the lines of Dortmund's players running inside the box prematurely, but replays showed that Chelsea's players ran into the box before any of Dortmund's players. I'm sure there's an explanation behind it, but I don't understand how it works.

I thought its pretty simple, any encroaching (is that the right word?) by anyone b4 the ball is hit then its a retake?
Dortmund certainly disappointed in this game, all the talk about winning all games this yr... shame Brandt out at the start though since they were saying hes been their best player...
So Chelsea so star studded, finally manages something this season? Although still look pretty average overall?

You may be right. It still seems odd to me that the team that has already taken the penalty gets another attempt, as a result of their own team members instigating an encroachment. Might as well plan for it then, and have team members who run into the box if it looks like it's going to be a poor penalty.

Exactly....it makes no sense to repeat when penalty takers team mates are also guilty of running into the box.
I think with all these winning streak they were overconfident. They were poor in finishing. They created some neat chances. Chelsea on the other hand were really lucky to get away with those two goals. In another day both could have been missed.
It's finally potter who survives another month

Actually it's a clear and massive refereeing blunder as VAR isn't supposed to step in on encroachment when the ref has a good view, as per recent guidelines and directives. Because else pen repetition would become pandemic.
The penalty should never have been retaken, and probably not given either, but let's face it Dortmund are whack anyway

This is actually the most defensively solid Dortmund team I've ever seen. Some of their most established and talented players are showing serious signs of being on decline, and I still don't think Julian Brandt's flashes of brilliance compensates for his lack of sustainable form, but they have strength in balance now. Ever since Schlotterbeck settled in, they've really shored up their defense. Which is incredible considering how god awful they were defensively last season, and they even lost Akanji who was their best defender by a mile then.
