Lots of CL teams are going down to EL. Will be as difficult winning that as CL. Doubt Xavi gets sacked as long as he takes the league to the wire. If Barca go out early in the CL and the league can see Xavi scraping another year

I think his mind was made up when he lost the BO to Washedssi after his historic 41 goal season. Clearly he realized that Loliga is the place to be if you want individual recognition.

Now he needs to win the Europa League, La Liga, and prays that a team with no standout individual player wins the CL if he wants a chance at the Ballon d'Or.
