At the end of the day its all about player quality. Auba coming was big, gave us a focal point in attack, Lewa coming in is like 4 levels further or maybe even beyond. Chavi can be applauded for wanting him so badly, but some players are so good they make it work themselves. Chavi can only cheer him on

I mean, you are right too, Laporta also deserves some credit (and blame because even though he had no choice, leveraging the club's future isn't the best of solutions).

But circling back to Xavi, his tactical acumen combined with good players has made Barça turn into a high-scoring side with man weapons to challenge for titles.

To think that last year they were struggling badly and their level wasn't even good enough for the EL, it's impressive that they managed to bounce back so quickly. And I don't think it would've been possible without Xavi.

Yup. KDB made it his thing where he underlaps and hits a first time cross on his right foot. I've seen Gavi make similar movements this season.

De Bruyne still doing that move non stop in every game atm n still opponents having trouble stopping it. He makes it all look so simple too, exactly shows what an elite player he is

Gavi is great for his age, but there are often games where he just disappears, still think Xavi is yet to find the best for position for him...

He keeps losing the ball every time he is pressured. Worse than Casemiro under pressure and that is telling cause Casemiro was already bad in those situations.

Not even a proper take as Tchoua had a lovely half and match in general. Meanwhile, slight GL favourite De Paul had yet another disappearing act vs Madrid.

Also, this ref was a ticking time bomb of dumb decisions and sending of Hermoso was the explosion. All in all, never in doubt one bit. Ez fking Pz stuff.

Tcho was excellent and so were our other 2 midfielders. Atleti had nothing after their first 10 mins blitz. Bad mistake by Tibu but he is allowed after covering our backsides so long

Fede Valverde is the player everyone thinks De Paul is. In fact, there isn't one good thing I can say about De Pauls footballing ability. People like him because of his stamina, and theres not much else.

He lost it like twice in the first half, and 0 times in dangerous positions. Other than that his passing and defensive were excellent. The only player who seemed to fold under Atletico's press at times was Mendy.

Ffs Real are too good, Pathetico started very well but that was a sublime goal by Rodrygo, assisted by Tchouamenis who certainly worth it so far, settled in no time n now ahead of Camivinga already.

I hate how Pathetico do all they can but cant touch Real ever, but kept giving us hard games n held us off for that league...

Tch is in a new team and league, was made a starter immediately cause casemiro bailed before he lost his spot, I personally don't think he would this season but their would be half the normal game time, so casemiro leaving is understandable and Tch as done great for someone learning the position on the job, so stop trying to act like your ahead of the curve when you actually just sound ignorant nothing new to you guys.

Hala only dislikes rodygo cause he see a lot of benzema playing style in rodygo game, always trying to say some negative or stupid, first he is not a elite dribbler,  timid and scared to take on players, based nothing and you keep saying it over and over trying to speak it into existence, yet you praise vini when was playing against the team as brave, all those year of justifying the cr way of playing is clearly warping your brain, your so obsessed with Benz vs higs days, can't stop hating on player like benzema also remember you rejecting Harry Kane idea cause he is too much like benzema, but you love to hype chokers like higuain to high heavens calling them brave for panic shooting under pressure, that why narratives are stupid cause you can't give it up no matter how dumb of take it is.

Passing the ball as an attacker doesn't mean your a coward and time, means you trust your teammates to make the right plays.

Dribbling down blind alleys and kicking the ball out of spite, isn't brave or decisive, just a selfish glory hunter who doesn't care about winning, vini can learn this lesson but it's still lost hala after all these years so sad.
