Randomly came across someone saying the below on Barcaforum about Real being funded by Spanish gov, I have no idea n just wanted to see whats everyones opinion? The links just says US fund but does anyone know more?

"Spanish Goverment funded Real's stadium renovation via their off shore company called Providence. Firstly, they bought Real' internet rights for 500 m, then they got Real' trivial future sponsorship income for 405 m(200 m+205m)

Another Culetard conspiracy theory? what else is new Laughing Years of spewing James Bond-level villain tales about Perez, secretive backroom dealing involving fictitious shady parties, invisible hands interfering in all levels of Spanish AND European football to Madrid's benefit, and a network of "Real Madrid fans" that goes all the way up to the court system prosecuting Barça's players for tax fraud and the financial watchdogs keeping an eye on the league's financial requirements.

The irony in all of this? Barça is the team who has been caught red-handed engaging in monkey-business and has multiple presidents and board members facing actual jail time for their crimes Laughing

Lol, this business between us with Atletico over the 40M for Griezmann is pretty funny. Dunno who suggested the clause but clearly its laughable. Them being cheap n subbing him on after the 60min to save the 40M or us too stupid to include such a clause so that they can take such advantage, dunno whats more sad XD

Farfan, it isn’t worth the effort to respond to this clown. He is constantly throwing BS out there and as acknowledged, he doesn’t even bother to check it out.

To me I will always have a softer spot for Barça over Real due to regional difference, but it is clear to me Barça fans have absolutely lost their heads due to Real Madrid's (unexpected) success through the last 7 years, to which far trumped their own in their golden era.

As a result stuff like the above, is perpetuated.

For those of you have criticized teams about signings or sales, take a good look at la liga spending caps released today.

There are four highly different tiers!

RMad 683, Barca 656 (and recognize that Barca got there by selling off future income, meaning they likely can’t stay in this tier)

Atleti 341

Sevilla, Betis, Villareal, Athletic, La Real between 96 to 200

Rest of la liga averaging around 50.

Then there is 2nd were the average drops to 10!

Then compare to other leagues, you will find there is only Bayern, PSG and a half dozen or so in EPL in that top tier or above. I don’t believe any Italian team would be in that top tier, with the top three maybe at a level of Atleti.

Bottom line, that marketplace for top talent is confined to 10 teams and it is no wonder, teams like Sevilla have to sell to survive.

Raphinha is so meh. I can't believe Xavi compared him with Neymar and Rivaldo the other day. If he was half as good as either of them he would have produced more than he is producing right now.

Raphinha has been our best performer though apart from Gavi prolly...? At least hes a top player that belongs to Barca level, unlike so many others...

Bellerin no doubt pretty good going forward, but still dunno if hes good defending, hasnt been tested this game.

Cbf waiting for this game to finish... too long delay...

So for Bayern it looks like only question mark is if De Jong or Gavi will start...

It is infuriating how the referees just wave away Vini's appeals for a tiny bit of protection. Every single RB he's faced this season has been torturing him off the ball. Just because he is Brazilian Evil or Very Mad

What made it worse is that Xavi played with both of them. Sigh, such a bad comparison, totally bad comparison.

Cadiz was his worst game since debut but he's been great so far... his passing+crossing range is fantastic and he doesnt stop running and working

He'd have better numbers if Lewa could finish to save his life Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Yeah only took Vini flopping for 3 seasons and Fati being injured for 2.

And Fati is still better than Rodrygo.

The only thing Fati had an edge in was goalscoring and decisionmaking. Now that Vini has that he's left Fati so far behind he can't see him in his rear view mirror anymore. Vini has bigger fish to fry than comparing himself to plebs like Fati.

There isn't a single category Fati beats Rodrygo in. Not one category! And I dare you bring anything, something Fati is better than Rodrygo at. This will be Rodrygo's breakout season and he too will leave Fati further behind.

Enough nonsense.

Fati had been injured for almost 2 years, missed something like 80 games. You should compare him to Burger boy Hazard who has been equally injured if anything. Rodrygo was so bad Carlo started playing Valverde out of position on the RW.
