I love Casemiro but 70 millions for him today is hard to pass.

if this whole Casemiro thing is true though it makes sense from both United and Madrid to be open to it, like yall have said Casemiro is at an age where it's only down from here (valuation wise) you also have a lot of midfielders for the future (even if they don't have the exact same profile)

The only one it doesn't make much sense for is Casemiro, Manchester/England ain't the most desireable place in the world, but I guess money talks and he has nothing to prove since he's won it all in Spain.

In these economic times if this offer is true its a great deal/move for Madrid and will hopefully be a great move for us since we have long lacked a player of his quality in that role.

That said I expect it won't even happen.

I would 100000% rather this than sign FDJ. Though we still need a partner for Casemiro, I want to see a midfield of Casemiro someone else and Eriksen.

Whether Tchouameni is ready or not doesn't matter anymore. He has to be ready now because he's certainly starting. I just hope fans are patient with him.

Casemiro is my 2nd favorite after Benz but anything above 80million is just too good to turn down. We just have to see what Casemiro thinks.

And yeah United are in panic right now. No offense to the United fans but they chased FdJ all summer and are just now trying for other targets. I would just sack your entire board for having shit planning

Casimero is a VERY good move for Man U. On paper probably their best move in ages. They immediately go up a level if they sign him. A ton of their issues are simply solvable with signing a DM. I do think Madrid selling for that much money (80m) is hard to pass up like nick said. There will be growing pains with tchouemni but I believe he can rise to the task

I highly doubt that's going to solve a lot of their issues, but they're free to spend more money on players that won't suit the rest of their team. I am a fan of Casemiro, but if we can replace him with someone younger who's not a substantial downgrade in the short-term, then I think we should grab the chance to do so.

It's an improvement but I dont think  they "go up a level" with just Casemiro. So far Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez made them even worse than before   Casemiro was mostly carried by the brilliance of Modrić and Kroos

Casemiro is a champion and one of the best DM's of this generation. Although I'm not sure what the success record of big money signings over the age of 30 is. I can't imagine it being too high.

He's also shit on the ball. I mean he's great at recovering it, but if United wants to play from the back then he's going to be a liability in that regard. Madrid adapted to that by having Modric drop into the first line when wanting a numeric advantage, while Casemiro played higher up the pitch. If United signs FDJ I can see them doing something similar.
