Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Giroud was trash but those two goals justified the 1M we spent on him.
Maignan is an upgrade on Donarrumma. Very little between them as shot stoppers, and he's 10x better as a passer.

Maignan is generations ahead of Donna's shit passing, lord i still remember his terrible footwork when he receives a pass and tries to outwit an opponent closing in on him.

I forgot what game it was but I remember watching PSG early in the season where they had troubles building from the back because opposition was pressing high and all of Donarrumma's passes were going out of play.
I kid you not the camera panned to Neymar then Messi. Neymar told him off for it while Messi looked annoyed. There's a reason the dressing room heavyweights prefer Keylor Navas. He's not Ederson on the ball, but his average ball playing is still leagues above Donarrumma's LMFAO.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Yeah, Donna passes exactly like an old school goalie would i.e just get it the f outta here.
I would leave it to you Milan fans to go into detail but in terms of the more prominent aspects of a goalie (shot stopping, command of the area, positional awareness, concentration, maybe aerial ability), I still don't see any real drop in quality from Donna to Maignan.

Donnarumma is a king in the air, and probably better at penalties (due to size). He is also good at getting large.
Magnian is more like Cassilas but with more modern footwork. His reflexes and movement compensates for a lack of size, and he is honestly proving a steal.

Yeah, with Locatelli and Cuadrado back, and later Chiesa, it should look very good.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Vlahovic wasted no time settling in. He can be a monster in Serie A.
Juve secured CL spot and probably next year's scudetto (and maybe this one) with this signing. The league may go back to shit again with period of dominance.
If you first don't succeed, just sign the best players in the league.

Don't worry, as long as you and Inter don't get stupid and Juve is still coached like a mid table team, this league will still be competitive

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
So what does that make Donarrumma's future like? I mean if Milan can replace him with another just as good GK overall, n I thought hes supposed to be the next Buffon ie the best GK in the next gen?

Will probably find himself back in Italy with Juve and be their first choice GK for at least 10 years.
His style is not affected by age, and he is still a WC GK. I don't think he will reach Buffon's level (no shame in that).

Maignan is not as good as Donnarumma, that's just something that Milan fans like to believe because it's comforting. His bad passing skills are not an issue for Italy, but they are in a team of shitheads, in which he barely plays, so he obviously sucks

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
well so we outlcassed Milan for 70 minutes, but we 've lost due to our black - out. A real bottle job. And AC Milan are destined to winning league , the asymmetrc fixture calendar is a sign. Easy matches now and most difficult matches at the end when Lazio Atalanta might not have real targets
Having said that, how much longer we 'll have to pay for Milanisti tears ?
1-1 was born from this foul by giroud on Sanchez
Eh but There Is A Conspiracy Against Milan according Milanisti lmao

The ref allowed those plays all match. Those kinds of "fouls" are allowed all the time in the PL and the CL, but are inconsistently applied in Serie A. For reference sake, Hakan's penalty in the first leg was a direct harassment of Kessie that the ref didn't call as a foul, and as a result called the foul on Kessie tripping Hakan as he fell down.
Giroud took the ball and Sanchez clattered into him.
You had 15 minutes to score a second goal from that point, but then conceded a second.
This season, we had two legitimate goals disallowed in the 90th minute against Napoli and Spezia, and those are 4 points that we couldn't even attempt to claw back at the end.
It's Inter's league to lose. Milan's wage bill and transfer value is a fraction of Inter and Jive, so CL has always been our target. Anything more is an unlikely bonus.

Brahim is finally rediscovering his early season form, we need him to continue like this if we hope to compete.

Big game for 4th spot. If we win we should cement our position.
