9 times out of 10 in these situations the abuser has plausible deniability, so those that want to condemn will condemn and those that want to defend will defend, but nothing is actionable in the end and their life will go on as usual.
But this girl seems to have recorded him raping her (I haven’t/am not going to listen to the video).
That suggests to me he has a history of abusing her so she decided to wait for him to do it again so she could get irrefutable hard evidence and send him straight to Prison FC.

these kids grow up in a different world, other sports have issues too of course, but there's something to be said about football in particular when the kids are scouted at like 5 years old and grow up through the academy system, get handed millions before they're event adults and feel like they're entitled to anything they want, sickening stuff tbh, I do agree an example needs to be made. Shit like this, the Mendy stuff and all of the recent French football leaks are really exposing how fucked up the sport is.

I saw on redcafe that someone on reddit had posted about Greenwood in a thread about Mendy 5 months ago, some United fans had called them out as bullshitting but it seems like that person had the inside scoop. Hope the club weren't aware.

Of course they get away with lots. Even the average person doesn’t believe most victims because of lack of evidence. A football business isn’t going to throw away its assets unless it’s forced to. Nice signing by Prison FC, that too in January no less. They needed fast attacker upfront. I do have some doubts though, threatening attacker but finishing needs improvement.
