Not a bad start. Not fluent at all but every 3 points important in the long run.

All 3 of our starting midfielders didn't start but very promising performance.

Klopp is the great one, who plays a midfield of 80 year old Milner, half broken Ox and ever burnt Keita ... and he still expects that team to win

We finally overperformed on our xG and Lukaku is yet to play with us.
I am excited to see how we got this season.
(Also desperately hope we keep Chalobah!)

Implosion from Newcastle. Came into the 2nd half 2-1 up and are now 4-2 down to West Ham, who have pretty much scored with every attack. Antonio fantastic, despite a missed penalty kick. Has equaled Paolo Di Canio's club record 47 league goals in the PL.

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
Why rumours saying Pep dont want B.Silva anymore? I dont get the love for Ferran Torres.
I want De Bruyne asap back... Man C always clearly miss him when hes not playing. Grealish is nice to watch and links well with teammates, but he can be not direct enough. Pressure on Man C already since the other top teams all have had impressive wins already, need 3 points...

Son seems to be feeling the pressure of the post-Kane world. Goes for goal every single time.

Looks like Man C will lose to Kane-less Spurs, what a way to start the season with Man U Chelsea Liverpool all with good wins. Trouble already for Pep lol...

Re: 2021/2022 Premier League Discussion
City were extremely slow in build up playing with no urgency and also poor in transition. Just a very uninspired performance by them and made it easy for Spurs to defend and counter against them.
Still don't see why City needed Grealish when they have Mendy as their obvious weak link. The guy couldn't even get into bottom half teams. That £100 million could have been better spent.
Thought Spurs would tire earlier on but they had an extra gear which City didn't until the last 10 minutes. Perhaps Guardiola wants to peak late in the season where play-off competitions matter more? Nevertheless the difference between physical condition of these teams was pretty huge.
Also mistake by Pep to sub Sterling out instead of Torres. The latter was just nowhere to be seen in this game.
As much as I though Son's strike was magnificent my MotM is Lucas Moura. Very energetic, didn't put a foot wrong where he could, defended well. His performances in the Spurs shirt have been far better than what I remember in PSG.
