Don't expect too much from Fati. His progress will be troubled by the injuries

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
So Barca are advising Fati to go through the knife again which would keep him out for 3 months

Dembele? Ansu you mean?
FATI. En el club aconsejan quirofano. El jugador ha de decidir en los proximos dias. Podria estar 3 meses de baja. En breve en @diarioas

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
3 months in what is almost February essentially means he'd be out for the season again...
Barça recommend Ansu Fati to undergo surgery in Finland.
If he decides to do so, he could miss the remainder of the season.
The decision is up to the player and could be communicated tomorrow. [tv3]

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
We have defeated Sevilla, Barcelona, Aletico, Athletic, Valencia and almost every top teamin Liga and lost points to Levante, Elche, Cadiz, Getafe, Espanyol and Osasuna.
This happens when you only know one way to play and are unable to break teams who sit deep.

Sevilla can legit give it a go. RM tend to lose points towards the end

You’re grasping at straws! Can’t wait to see your reaction when it ends up a liga triple season!
By the way, final 5 liga games of RMad and Sevilla are:
RMad: Espanyol, Atleti, Levante, Cadiz and Betis
Sevilla: Cadiz, Villareal, Mallorca, Atleti, Bilbao
You really think Sevilla has any chance of running out the season?

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
You mightve missed it but I already congratulated you on the title (december 12th). If this isnt gracious, then what is? (:
The honest truth is you're acting cocky but RM is a poor side too. Early CL exit incoming. Domination is 6-2, 5-0 not scraping by 1 goal most of the time.

Most Real Madrid fans agree with this to be honest.

Shockingly boring game. Literally nothing happened
Where did the intensity from supercup clasico go? does not look great before the Atleti fixture, battle for 4th spot ;/

lol, take a look at the next 6-8 clubs very close behind, some with a game in hand. It's a battle for 4-8 positions!

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
We were poor again, vs Alaves we were equally poor, luckily we scraped a goal for the 3 points Both side barely created anything... Luckily Ferran isnt Barca B or Luuk level, but not much to be excited about still. I pray that Dembele stays, n perhaps Depay back we will be a bit better in creating. Now that Fati is out again, we will continue to struggle to score...

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Luuk is awful, he had a one off game where he played somewhat decently and suddenly everyone wanted him to start. He's nowhere near starting level and neither is Ez Abde.
It was amusing how Ferran in typical Messi fashion dropped deep several times out of frustration to move the ball forward and that shows his level is quite high imo, he is very versatile and that final pass to Frenkie was cool and collected instead of trying to finish himself.
The bench is short and poor which means in the short-term Dembele's renewal would be preferable

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Interesting also with cules that I mean in general not in this forum im talking, tend to criticise whoever n scapegoat certain players, n its been the old guards this season. Sometimes rightly so but often not. Luck has to do a lot with it n its all strange, but this game ppl priase Ferran for the assist, but seemingly nothing about Alba's ball to him with his right foot too Not to mention Frankie with the goal, hes been one the cules have turned on too increasingly this season...
Definitely not proud of these general cules who I guess are more younger fans n like to vent their frustrations too often than not
As for Real, dont think u need to worry hala, u've beaten Bilbao so easily recently, as long as Vini is firing n Modric running show again, should be fine

I was about to comment on these 2 points but decided not to. But since you brought them up.
Alba has been awful for the past 2 months or so. He's a defensive liability and clearly suffers from lack of passing options which Messi created for him in the past. Even before Messi left my only praise for Alba was connected with his contribution in attack, not necessarily with his defensive abilities and I maintain that.
His ball to Ferran was great, but hes a defender and I would rather praise him for his defensive output. Point being, Alaves didn't do much offensively and thus Alba didnt have to do much so he had a fairly calm/easy game. The problem isn't his final ball, it's his recklessness in our own box.
As for Frenkie. Earlier I wanted to say I hoped the goal would give him more confidence going forward. I know he's capable of performing better and these issues he's having seem more mental to me than physical or tactical. The goal was clutch, but overall I though his game was quite bad. The entire midfield sucked balls. Busquets was awful and Pedri had issues completing the simplest of passes but that could also be due to the pitch being in disastrous condition.
I lurk from time to time on barcaforum and tbh I dont see anyone regularly scapegoating Frenkie. Busquets seems to be the one getting most of the heat. But Frenkie hasnt been much better than Busquets this season and that's a fact (which is saying a lot). His previous season was levels above what he's shown so far in 21/22

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
Well just hope we can stay being unbiased n dont unfairly scapegoat anybody, jump on hype n bandwagons, etc., although I guess it natural since everyone has preferences n some dont get time to watch all the games to know better Its good to have this forum with many long term established fans who prolly know the game than some of the more causal or younger ones I guess that tend to do that

Re: The Official LaLiga Thread
If you look at the teams we've dropped points at, only one is in the top half. There rest are in the bottom half. Embarrassing really. What's the point winning all the big games if we are going to go and lose against the likes of Getafe the next matchday

After watching Suarez win the title with Atleitco, I really dont wanna watch Rakitic n Munir win it with Sevilla? Ffs I dont know if might be worst then watching Real win it tbh...lol
